ANSMANN XACT250 is a battery charger for two or four AA/AAA NiMH or NiCd rechargeable batteries. With charging current of 250 mA for AA batteries, and 120 mA for AAA, this charger will recharge your batteries quickly and efficiently. A red LED indicates when the charging process has started. The charger automatically starts charging once inserted into a power outlet.

Use of the charger

Indicators
LED red: indicates the charging process has started when 2 or 4
cylindric cells are inserted with correct polarity
Caution
Keep the charger in a dry place (indoor use only!). Danger of
fire and electric shock! Damaged chargers are to be taken to
authorized dealers.
Operation
Plug the charger into a convenient mains socket and place the
batteries into the battery charging slots of the charger. The charger
will start up automatically. Please ensure that the cells must are
inserted in pairs, so that the left or right LED can indicate the charging
is in progress. After a period of time (see table of charging times)
batteries should be taken out of the charger. Danger of overcharging!
Only discharged batteries should be charged as recommended in the
table of charging times.
Environmental reference
By using rechargeable batteries and chargers you conserve the
environment and save money by doing so. Give used up batteries
back to your dealer or even better to an authorized battery collecting
point.
Maintenance
Do not carry out any cleaning or maintenance work, if your charger is
plugged in. In order to guarantee a perfect function of the charger,
keep the contacts inside the charging slots clean. Do not plug in the
charger in case of damaged housing or power plug pins. Never open
the charger! Chargers in need of repair must be taken to authorized
dealers.
