The steam regulator dial G enablesthequantityofsteamto
beincreasedordecreasedaccordingtothefabricbeingiro-

3. Ideal for top quality ironing with energy and water sa-
vings.
4. Ideal for dicult-to-iron garments or creases.
Whenyouturntheironon,youarerecommendedtoturnthe
steamregulatordialtothemaximumsteamposition.
Topping up the water in the reservoir
Whenthewaterrunsout,the light comes on.
Whenthelightcomeson,youmusttopupthewaterinthe
reservoirasrapidlyaspossible,followingtheprocedurefor
llingthereservoir.
Thisenablesyoutocontinueironingwithoutinterruption.
If you delay topping up the water and the steam generator
coolsdown,thesystemnolongeremitssteamandwhenthe
reservoirislledagain,theappliancefunctionsasthough
turned on for the rst time.
Inotherwords,5minuteswillelapsebeforethesteamisre-
ady and during those 5 minutes you will hear the pump ll 4
or5timesforabout30seconds.
Afterthis periodof stabilisation,the steamgeneratorwill
startworkingnormally,periodicallyllingwithwater.
Whenthe“nowater”lightcomeson,youshouldnot
continue steam ironing with the pump vibrating.
If this practice is continued, in the long run it could
irreparably damage internal components.
Whenthewaterinthereservoirhasrunout,thepumpbe-
comes noisier.

Todryiron,turnthethermostatdialontheirontoselectthe
temperature most suitablefor the garmentstobe ironed,
thenironwithoutpressingthesteambutton.
Maintenance
Rinsing the steam generator
Tooptimiseoperation,maintainconstantsteamproduction
overtimeandsaveenergy,rinsethesteamgeneratorwith
waterafterevery10ironingsessions.Proceedasfollows:
• Makesuretheapplianceisturnedo,unpluggedfrom
the mains and completely cold.
• Empty the water reservoir by turning the appliance
upsidedownoverasink(g.3).
• TurntheprotectivecapB on the side of the appliance
clockwiseandremove(g.4).
• Useacoinorscrewdrivertounscrewthesteamgenera-
torcap(g.5).
• Eliminatethewaterinthesteamgenerator(g.6);
• Resttheapplianceonitsside(g.7)andllwithama-
ximumof0.7litresofwaterusingafunneltoavoidthe
water spilling outside the steam generator.
• Shaketheappliancetorinsetheentiresteamgenerator,
then throw the water away.
• Repeat the rinse procedure.
• Screwthecapbackon,makingsureitclosesthesteam
generator eciently.
