Get to know your sandwich toaster
Please read these instructions and have a good look at the
illustrations before using your sandwich toaster.

Safety first !
Your sandwich toaster should be used in
such a way that it is protected from
moisture. e.g. condensation, splashed
water etc. Do not place or store your
sandwich toaster where it can fall or be
p
ulled into water or any other liquid.
Do not reach for the appliance if it
has fallen in water or any
other liquid. Unplug immediately.
Stand your sandwich toaster on a stable,
level surface during use. Do not allow
your sandwich toaster to sit on top of the
mains lead.
Make sure that children cannot
touch the appliance when
hot or pull the mains lead.
It is DANGEROUS to insert fingers or other
objects into the sandwich toaster. Do not allow young
children to play with the appliance. Don’t touch hot surface,
use handle or knobs only.
If the supply cord is damaged in any way it must be
replaced by a qualified person to avoid hazard
Never insert oversized food, metal foil or other
utensils into the appliance Bread may burn.

Unplug from the mains supply when not in use, Allow to
cool before cleaning/handling the appliance

emoving and Fitting the hot plates
Warning: Do not touch the metal plate of the top lid during operation as this becomes very hot.

lways unplug the appliance and allow the unit to fully cool down before handling the hot plates

emoval
To remove the bottom plate, pull the tabs towards you
To remove the top plate, push the tabs upwards and the plate should pop up to be removed
Fitting
A
lign the hot plate with the locating points then press down on the hot plate. It should clip into position

Sandwich Maker
Sandwich plate
1. Connect the sandwich toasting plate (see page 3). Close the lid.
2. Connect the plug into the mains socket, the red lamp will light up (while the unit is warming up prepare the food load to be cooked).
3. Once the cooking surface has reached the desired temperature the green lamp will light up. Open the lid and place the food load onto the hot plate.
As different bread types come in different sizes, shape the bread to fit the hot plate, this will allow the lid to close properly and allow easy cleaning
afterwards. Place the buttered side of the bread onto the bottom plate the food load onto the centre of the bread, place the top piece of bread with
buttered side up on top. Close the lid and lock the handle.
4. The green lamp will periodically come on and off as the heating element is operated. Average cooking time will be between 6-8 minutes depending
on food load and desired taste .The lid can be opened during the cooking period to check the cooking progress.
Warnings
Do not overfill the hot plate with food. This will prevent the lid from closing properly. Shape the bread to fit the hotplate, do not use oversized pieces
of bread.
Do not use excessive force to close the lid – this implies that too many ingredients have been used.
Use a non metallic / heat resistant utensil to remove the food load after cooking to prevent damage to the hot plate, do not use plastic.
Always unplug the appliance and allow the unit to cool down before removing or cleaning the hot plate.

Grill
Grill plate
1. Connect the Grill plate (see page 3). Close the lid.
2. Connect the plug into the mains socket, the red lamp will light up (while the unit is warming up prepare the food load to be cooked).
3. Once the cooking surface has reached the desired temperature the green lamp will light up. Open the lid and place the food load onto
the hot plate. Close the lid and lock the handle.

minutes depending on food load and desired taste. The lid can be opened during the cooking period to check the cooking progress.

Use tongs to remove the food load after cooking to prevent damage to the hot plate, do not use plastic utensils.
Be careful with certain food types, especially those that contain high water / fat content .The residue from these food types will remain
on the hotplate while cooking.
Always clean the surface after each food load.
Always unplug the appliance and allow the unit to cool down before removing or cleaning the hot plate..

Waffle Maker

1. Connect the Waffle plate (see page 3). Close the lid.
2. Connect the plug into the mains socket, the red lamp will light up (while the unit is warming up prepare the food load to be cooked).
3. Once the cooking surface has reached the desired temperature the green lamp will light up. Open the lid and pour the batter mixture
onto the hot plate, pour the mixture until it reaches, the very top edge of the hot plate. Close the lid and lock the handle.
4. The green lamp will periodically come on and off as the heating element is operated. Average cooking time will be between 9-12
minutes depending on mixture and desired taste. The lid can be opened during the cooking period period to check the cooking
progress.
Warnings
Do not overfill the hot plate with mixture. This will prevent any spillage’s.
Use heat resistant utensils to remove the food load after cooking. Do not use plastic or sharp metal utensils to prevent damage to the
hot plate or the utensil.
Always unplug the appliance and allow the unit to cool down before removing or cleaning the hot plate.
Cleanin
g
and Maintenance
1. Unplug the appliance from power supply and wait for it to completely cool
before cleaning.
2. Use a soft wet cloth to wipe the cooking surface and never use an
abrasive cleaner to wipe the cooking plate otherwise the non-stic

coating would be easily damaged.
3. The cooking plates are dishwasher safe. Please ensure the plates have
cooled down completely before removing and placing in the dishwasher.
4. Clean the applience every time after use.
