Setup Instructions
Step 1
Verify Parts
Media Guide•
Media Guide Rails (2)•
Media Base Plate•
Back Stop•
Step 2
Insert Media Guide Rails•
Thread in to secure•
Step 3
Install the Media Base•
Plate
Install the two small•
screws to hold the Media
Base Plate into position
Step 4
Install the Media Back•
Stop over the Media
Guide Rails
Slide into place•
Step 5
Install the Media Guide•
Step 6
Place the Feeder Unit against•
the Ilumina
Adjust measurements to:•
Printer Stand = 32 1/8” (81.6cm)
Feeder
Inside = 16” (40.6cm)
Outside = 16 1/4” (41.3cm)
Step 7
Verify the correct height of•
the Feeder to the Ilumina
Step 8
Center the Feeder to the•
Ilumina input rollers
Slide the Media Guide•
Plate to the left until it
stops hard
Move the Feeder left or•
right to align the edge of
the Media Guide Plate
with the Red vertical line
on the Ilumina

Loosen the Right Media•
Guide
Slide the guide to #10•
Tighten the thumb screw•
to lock into position
Repeat for the Left Media•
Guide
Step 10
Slide the Media Guide•
Plate left or right to align
for #10 Envelopes
Step 11
Align the L-shape of the Media•
Guide Plate directly under the
Right Media Guide
Step 12
Connect the Feeder’s 9-Pin•
connector to the Ilumina
Power ON the Ilumina•
Place a small stack of media in•
the Feeder’s input tray
Test the UP/DOWN switch of•
the Feeder. The UP/DOWN
switch is on the Ilumina’s
Control Panel
Step 13
To change Media sizes, fold the •
feed edge of the media in half
Hold the folded media to the •
edge of the Media Guide Plate
and slide the plate left or right
until the edge of the media is
centered on the gray pickup
roller
Slide the left and right guides •
on the Media Guide to the maxi-
mum width
Load the media and raise the •
Feeder using the UP/DOWN
switch
Step 14
Tighten the 3 Docking Plate screws after feeder is aligned•
Step 15
Verify that the Locking Block is installed in the Ilumina Press.•
There are two confi gurations for this block, I and II (The marks
are made into the block)
Position II up is the default setting as shown in the picture•
Position I up will loosen the pickup roller•
Separation Pad Installation
Install MP Separation Pad. Do not use this part unless you are•
experiencing feeding problems with a particular media type and
a Technician instructs you to install
