Directions for Use
1 Cut Strait-Flex ORIGINAL to desired length. Fold in half at center crease with print
together. For outside corners, the print should face the wall. For inside corners, the
print faces out. To ensure that ORIGINAL lays flat on the wall, fold less than angle
for inside corners; and for outside corners more than the angle.
2 Using a 5” or 6” taping knife, apply a liberal coat of all-purpose joint compound.
3 Press ORIGINAL into wet compound. Adjust if necessary to create a straight line.
Wipe down with knife with additional pressure to the outer edge of ORIGINAL.
Immediately apply light skim coat of joint compound and let dry.
4 Apply final coat, let dry, and sand.
REPAIRS OVER PAINTED SURFACES. Strait-Flex recommends the use of
Strait-Flex Super-Bond, mixed with all-purpose joint compound, for increased
bonding strength.
