a NOTE: The 6-pin SSI EEB Workstation Power Connector on the S2895 is

NOT COMPATIBLE with the 6-pin PCI-Express x16 Graphics Power Connector

on some PSU (Power Supply Unit). Connecting the PCI-Ex 6-pin power to the

motherboard WILL DAMAGE the Motherboard, PSU, and/or other components.

After further examination, Tyan has determined that the 6-pin power connector on

the S2895 is unnecessary. The 6-pin power connector on the S2895 will be removed

on future production of S2895 motherboard in order to minimize risk.

If you are unsure if your PSU 6-pin power connector is SSI spec

or PCI Ex spec,

DO NOT connect it to the motherboard.
