General notes: - The parameters marked with the symbol
D
are the default values.
- Settings remain active even after the printer has been turned off.
NOTE:
(1)
This parameter is present in the version with release higher than 1.00 .
(2)
Before execute the plug of two identical devices on USB ports of the same system, make sure the USB Address Number
of printer is different.
(3)
if this parameter is disabled, the printer can’t perform the automatic ejecting; if this parameter has been activated in “T.out
5-10-15-20-30-40-60 sec-2 min” mode, the printer executes automatically the automatic ejecting after 20-30-40-60 seconds
or 2 minutes.
(4)
If paper is present on the ejector and if this parameter is desabled, the printer can’t perform the paper retract; if this
parameter has been activated in “No Timeout” mode, when the printer receives the command, it can retract the paper; if
this parameter has been activated in “T.out 5-10-15- 20-30-40- 60 sec-2 min” mode, the printer executes automatically the
paper retract after 20-30-40-60 seconds or 2 minutes.
(5)
This parameter indicates the threshold value under the sensor detect the paper.
(6)
If the “Notch Alignment” parameter is disabled this parameter is not displayed in the Setup report.
(7)
This parameter is used to detect the presence of the notch. In order to better identify the optimum threshold for the paper
being used, a paper characterization function is also available in the setup.
(8)
The “Notch distance” parameter represents the distance in mm from the upper margin of the ticket to the black mark
on the ticket. For example, to set notch distance to 15 mm, modify the following parameters in order to obtain the desired
values as indicated :
Notch Dist. [mm x 10] : 1
Notch Dist. [mm x 1] : 5
Notch Dist. [mm x .1] : 0
(9)
: Function, if enabled, allows to print ticket more short than 150mm (see the paragraph 3.1 technical specifi cations).
After printing the Setup report with printer’s parameters (fi g.1.5), press LF LINE FEED key to enter the Setup
mode (see fi g.1.8).

After pressing LF key, the fi rst parameter to be modifi ed (Printer Emulation) is printed. To modify printer’s
parameters follow the instructions printed on the paper for the FORM FEED key and LINE FEED key functio-
nality.
The settings made are stored in EEPROM (nonvolatile memory).
