ESAB Firepower Deluxe Welding/Cutting Cart is designed to handle most Cutters and Welders to allow easy transport for the power source, wire feeder, gas cylinder*, welding torch and various accessories. This cart is capable of handling a maximum gas cylinder diameter of 9" (230mm) and a total load capacity of 440lbs. The cart comes with an organizer box, rubber mat, and chain for securing the gas cylinder. It is recommended to use open-ended spanners of sizes 5/16"-.4" (8mm- 10mm), .47"-.55" (12mm- 14mm) for assembly.

General Information
The Firepower Deluxe Welding/ Cutting Cart is de-
signed to handle most Cutters and Welders to allow
easy transport for the power source, wire feeder, gas
cylinder*, welding torch and various accessories. These
instructions will guide you through the proper assembly
procedure of the cart.
*Maximum Gas Cylinder 9" (230mm) diameter.
Recommended Tools
• Open-ended spanner 5/16"-.4" (8mm- 10mm),
.47"-.55" (12mm- 14mm)

A. Assemble the Cart Base
1. Attach the Base Box (Item 4) to the Back Assembly (Item 2), with Hook A hitching Slot A and Hook B
hitching Slot B. At this time, Interface B is on the top of Interface A.
2. Align the 3 Threaded holes on the Base Box with the 3 Holes on the Back Assembly. Fasten the Back As-
sembly and the Base Box with the 3 Bolts.
Bolts used here are as following:

B. Mount Power Source to Cart
NOTE
For MST220i and Fabricator 252i, use mount-
ing instructions below.
For other welders or plasma cutters, the pow-
er supply will not be mounted with screws.
1. Open the wirefeeder compartment door so you
can see 3 holes that need to align with the 3
threaded holes in the Base Box (Item 4).
2. Carefully lift the power source and from the
rear place it onto the base panel, with two sides
paralleling with the Guide Plates. Slide the power
source backward until it touches the Back Baf-
flers. Pay attention that the 3 threaded holes
align with the holes in the bottom of the power
source.
3. Thread 3 Hexagon Bolts into each hole and
tighten with the torque force described above
in Supplied Parts section.
WARNING
Unplug power source before mounting to
cart.
Refer to Figure 3 followed.
4. Remove the Screw from the top cover of the
Power Source as shown in Figure 5. Keep this
screw as it will be reinstalled later in Section C3.
Specification of the Screw is M6 x 12mm.

C. Attach Handle Assembly (Item 5) to
Cart
1. For MST220i and Fabrictaor 252i Only. Attach
the Handle Assembly to the top of Power Source
with Hook A hitching Groove of the front panel
and Interface B stuck between the brackets of
the Back Assembly (Item 2).

2. Align the two holes of the Handle Assembly,
interface B, with the two holes in the Back As-
sembly, interface A.
Use 2 bolts to fasten the Handle Assembly and
the Back Assembly as shown in Figure 7.
Specification of the bolts is:

3. For MST220i and Fabrictaor 252i Only. Reinstall
the Screw (taken out in Section B4) through the
Handle Assembly into the top cover of the Power
Source. Tighten the screw to secure the Power
Source to the cart.

4. Thread 2 Bolts through holes of the 2 brackets.
Tighten the Bolts to tightly connect the Back
Assembly and the Handle Assembly.

D. Place the Rubber Mat
Place the Rubber Mat (Item 6) onto the panel of the
Handle Assembly (Item 5) as shown in Figure 10.

E. Install Chain
1. Insert one end of the chain through the chain hole
on the left side of the Back Assembly (Item 2)
and secure it by turning and sliding the second
link into the slot (top hole is shown).
2. Wrap the chain around the Gas Cylinder and pull
the other end through the chain hole on the right
side of the Back Assembly (Item 2).
3. Pull the chain as tight as it will go and secure it
by turning and sliding the closest link into the
slot.
Refer to Figure 9.
