Introduction of Integrity SS888-FM
I.

A brief overview
All frames are made of steel with light cream colour powder
coating.

Bed surfaces are made of steel board with powder coating.

Two IV pole sockets & two lifting pole sockets.

A. Place bed in a horizontal position when transferring the patient to or from the
bed.
B. Do not confuse the head end and foot end of the bed when placing the patient
in the horizontal position.
C. Always raise the side rails whenever the patient is lying on the bed in the
horizontal position.
D. Make sure release pins are fully engaged before using side rails.
E. The mattress should be sufficiently wide enough to prevent any part of the
patient’s body from falling between the side rails and the mattress.
F. Do not allow the patient to sit on the bed when it is in the highest horizontal
position. Lower the bed before allowing patient to sit on the bed. Never sit
or lean on the head or foot end of bed.
G. The Trendelenburg position should only be attempted when the patient has
been secured in the bed with both side rails up.
H. Do not move the bed when use the side rail.
I. Do not jump up and down on the mattress.
J. Do not operate any bed function with any missing or damaged parts

Chapter 2: Actuator system function and control
I.
Actuator system overview
The bed actuator system must apply to the following requirement:
A. 24V low voltage DC actuator system with CE or UL approval.
B. Low-noise and water-proof,
C. Anti-overload protection, and anti-electric leakage,
D. Back-up function (Optional accessory). When power is failure, this function
can help user to keep operating for 120 minutes.
A. Our power supply is 120V or 230V, depends on use environment. Please
check power supply firstly before using it.
B. To reduce the risk of electrical shock, please do not remove the control
box, actuator and handset without our qualified technician.
C. Lock all casters before using.
D. Keep clearance of moving parts.
E. Refer to instructions located in this manual for cleaning and maintaining.
F. Do not use abrasives to clean painted surfaces.
G. Be aware of moving, telescoping, and rotating parts when positioning
the bed. Watch for pinch points. Keep fingers, arms, legs, and objects
clear of bed when any mechanism is in motion. Make sure all persons
and objects are clear of the bed when raising or lowering the bed. Do
not place arms or head into the frame while operating.
H. Keep all objects out under the bed. Make sure there is nothing under the
bed to interfere with bed operations.
I. Move out power supply and battery before repairing.
J. Make sure the cord from the control module and the cord from the
handset are clear of casters before operating and do not allow either of
these cords to get caught in the moving members of the bed.
K. Do not operate this device if these cables and the associated parts are
cut, frayed or loosely connected.

III. Handset function
1. Bed extension and folding
To extend bed, press the Back Up button.
To fold the back of the bed, press the Back Down button.
2. Backrest
To raise the back of the bed, press the Back Up button.
To lower the back of the bed, press the Back Down button.
3. To raise the foot of the bed, press the Foot Up button.
4. To lower the foot of the bed, press the Foot Down button.
5. To tilt to the back, press the trendelenburg up button.
6. To tilt to the foot, press the trendelenburg down button.
NOTE: For this procedure, refer to the drawing.
Folding:
Press to fold the bed.
Backrest
Press to lower backrest.
Extension:
Press to extend the bed.
Backrest :
Press to lower backrest.
Press to raise kneerest.
Press to lower kneerest.
Press to raise bed height.
Press to lower bed height.
Press to trendelenburg. Press to trendelenburg.
1. Do not unplug anything when the system is broken.
2. Keep the control box in charging condition at any time to maintain
battery life.
3. Unplug the power cord before removing the actuator(s) and
handset.
4. When bed function is no action, first to check the power supply and
then see the handset is well plugged or not
5. When the control box is reacting fine (you can hear the relay clicks),
after operating the handset, but the actuator is not functioning.
Check the connection between the actuator and control box. If there
is no problem, then the actuator is malfunctioned.
6. When the control box has no reaction (you cannot hear the relay
clicks), after operating the handset, check the handset connection.
If it functions occasionally, that means the connection is bad.
7. Please align the handset cable correctly when plugging into the
control box, or it will damage the socket.
8. When unplugging the handset, do not just pull the cable itself.
Please hold the head as well, or it will break the wire.
9. Please check the power cord for loose connection and avoid
unstable power voltage to prevent the transformer and fuse from
burning down.
11. The issue with power indicator on but no reaction from the handset
is mainly caused by the breakage of socket.
