BLOTZ B15-ME-009 Assembly Instructions

  • Hello! I've reviewed the instructions for the BLOTZ Middle Eastern Building kits, models B15-ME-009 and B20-ME-009. This document details the assembly process, including the use of glue, a modeling knife, and other tools. It also covers all the components of the construction kit, such as walls, gates, and roof supports. I’m ready to answer your questions about this building kit.
  • What type of glue is recommended for assembly?
What tools are needed for assembly?
Can I use elastic bands during assembly?
Middle Eastern Building #9
B15-ME-009 / B20-ME-009
Please read these instructions fully before starting construction.
PVA or equivalent glue will be required to stick sections together.
Sand paper can be used to gently clean any joints.
A sharp modelling knife will be required to remove sections from the sprue. Please use knives with due care and
remember to cut away from yourself at all times.
During the construction of this model, you may find it convenient to use pegs / elastic bands to hold pieces in place while
you allow glue to dry.
The images used are from the 15mm version of this kit, but assembly is identical for the 20mm version.
Remove the four walls shown above from the
sprue.
Glue them together as shown and attach them to the
base.
Take the opposite side wall (top) and the other
three walls from the sprue.
Attach the three walls together as shown, then glue
these to the base to the right of the section you have
already added. Glue the side wall in place.
Take the final three walls.
Glue them to the base as shown.
Take the gates and top bar…
And place (do not glue) the gates in the holes
provided. Slide (and glue) the top bar into the
gateway.
Glue the extra gateway pieces to the front and
back of the gateway.
Take the doors and roof supports from the sprue.
Glue the doors behind the openings and attach
the roof supports as shown above.
Glue the trapdoors to the roof pieces, then place (do
not glue) the roof pieces on top of the roof supports.
