botanical name “Ranunculus”. The peony multi-petaled type
flowering blooms are extremely vibrant in color and very
showy. Good as cut flowers in bouquets. Easy to grow
and are deer resistant.

About This Variety: Ranunculus bulbs are widely available at retail nurseries and mail-order catalogs in mixed
colors. Ranunculus in single colors however are unique and caught our eye, as they make for striking color displays
in the garden. We have identified this color to be special.
Growing Instructions: The plants are not very hardy and may be treated as an annual in colder zones but thrive
best in USDA zones 8 to 10. Simply replant new bulbs in colder zones or try to over winter them.
Care Tip: Soak the corms in luke warm water overnight before planting to jump start development.
Plant after danger of frost. Plant the corms with the ‘claws’ pointing downward.
Exposure: Full sun to partial shade
Height: Grows 16” tall
Spacing: Plant 4’’ apart, 3” deep
Hardy in: USDA zones 8-10
