TO AVOID RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK, always make sure Sma

Heater is unplugged from the electrical outlet before relocating,

servicing, or cleaning it.

CAUTION: To prevent electric shock, match wide blade of plug to

wide outlet slot and fully inse.

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should

always be followed to reduce the risk of ﬁre, electric shock, and / or

injury to persons, including the following:

1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING.

2. Sma Heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare

skin touch hot suaces. Use the back handle of the heater when

moving. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows,

bedding, papers, clothes and cuains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from

the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and

rear.

3. Extreme caution is necessary when heater is used by or near

children and whenever the heater is le operating and

unaended.

4. Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or aer

the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any

manner.

5. Do not use outdoors.

6. This Sma Heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry

areas and similar indoor locations. Never place heater where it

may fall into a bathtub or water container.

7. Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord under throw

rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Do not route cord under

furniture or appliances. Arrange cord away from trac area and

where it will be tripped over.

8. To disconnect Sma Heater, turn controls to o, then remove plug

from outlet.

9. Connect to standard outlets only.

POLARIZED PLUG

This Sma Heater has a polarized plug (one

blade is wider than the other).

As a safety feature to reduce the risk of

electrical shock, this plug is intended to ﬁt in a

polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does

not ﬁt fully in the outlet, reverse the plug.

10. Do not inse or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or

exhaust as this may cause an electric shock or ﬁre, or damage the

Sma Heater.

11. To prevent possible ﬁre, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any

manner. Do not use on so suaces, like a bed, where openings

may be blocked.

12. Sma Heater has hot and arcing or sparking pas inside. Do not

use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or ﬂammable liquids are

used or stored.

13. Use this Sma Heater only as described in this user manual. Any

other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause ﬁre,

electric shock, or injury to persons.

14. Always plug Sma Heater directly into a wall outlet/receptacle.

Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap

(outlet/power strip).

ELECTRIC POWER

If the electric circuit is overloaded by other appliances,

your Sma Heater and/or appliances may not operate properly.

Sma Heater should be operated on a separate electrical circuit

from other operating appliances.

Featuring a compact design, the atomi Sma Heater

can be controlled directly from the heater or via the

atomi sma app. Monitor and manage the

temperature in your home, set timers, or simply select

the time of day you’d like to activate your Sma Heater.

Before you begin

1. Remove tie from power cord and unravel the cord.

Keep plastic wrapping away from children.

2. Place the Sma Heater on the ﬂoor in the desired

location.

3. Know your Wi-Fi network and password.

4. Make sure your mobile device is running:

• iPhone® 8 or higher and iOS® 8 or higher.

Any previous iPhone® or iOS® may experience

slower connections.

• Android™ 4.1x or higher.

5. Make sure you’re connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi

network (atomi sma app can’t connect to 5GHz

networks).

Plug your atomi Sma Heater into a 120VAC outlet.

This heater has a polarized plug as a safety feature to ﬁt into a

wall outlet one way to reduce risk of electric shock.

Cleaning and Maintaining

your Sma Heater

CAUTION: Always be sure the Sma Heater is switched OFF,

unplugged and completely cooled before cleaning or aempting to

store the item. DO NOT immerse Sma Heater in water or allow water

to drip into the interior of the Sma Heater, as this could create an

electric shock hazard. DO NOT use any detergents or abrasives.

Care and Cleaning

1. Always turn o the Sma Heater and disconnect the cord

from the electrical outlet before cleaning your heater.

2. Accumulated dust may be removed from the Sma

Heater with a so cloth or vacuum cleaner.

3. Ensure the air intake vent on the back of Sma Heater is

free and clear of dust or lint.

4. The removable paicle ﬁlter should be cleaned and dried

out at least 1-2 times per season. Remove the air intake vent

cover and hand wash the paicle ﬁlter with soap and water.

5. Clean the outside of the heater by wiping it with a damp

cloth and bu with a dry cloth.

Storing

Allow Sma Heater to cool completely before storing. Store

in a dry location. Do not place heavy items on top of Sma

Heater as this may result in possible damage.

Troubleshooting

Cannot connect to your Wi-Fi network.

Make sure you entered the correct Wi-Fi password

during the Wi-Fi setup. Check if there are problems

with your internet connection. If the Wi-Fi signal is too

weak, reset your Wi-Fi router and try again.

Setup is not working properly.

1. Close all apps that are running in the background

then re-open the atomi sma app.

2. Uninstall and reinstall the atomi sma app then

repeat the setup process.

Why does my heater smell like something is burning?

It is possible that a new heater will produce an odor

when ﬁrst used. This is normal and should go away

aer the heater has been used for a while.

What if my Sma Heater gets knocked over?

This heater is equipped with a tip-over safety function

that shuts the heater o if it gets knocked over.

What do I do if my heater does not operate?

If your Sma Heater is not operating, please do the

following to reset:

1. Make sure Sma Heater is o.

2. Unplug the unit and wait 5-10 minutes.

3. Ensure there is nothing obstructing the heater and

intake vent.

4. Plug the Sma Heater in and turn it on.

Unable to control heater using the app

Make sure that the Wi-Fi buon is on. If the heater

gets tipped over the Wi-Fi buon will turn o.
