Protected Indicator Light
When plugged in and lit up green, it means that the surge
protection elements are working. If it goes out, it means the
surge protector served its purpose during a damaging
voltage spike, and should be replaced.
Grounded Indicator Light
Illuminated, it lets you know that your plug has a grounded
reference, which is needed for surge protection. Ground is
the exit pathway for excess electrical current during a surge.
