3. Intended use

This product is a motorcycle model that can be wirelessly controlled via the supplied remote control system. The

control functions are forward/left/right (each stepless).

The built-in motor is controlled by an electronic speed controller. The steering is controlled by a servo. An electrically

drivenywheelismountedintherearwheelanditservesasagyrosystemforstabilisation.

The motorcycle (chassis and body) is ready to ride.

This product is not a toy and is not suitable for children under 14 years of age.

Always follow the safety information in these operating instructions. It contains important information on

howtousetheproductsafely.Readtheoperatinginstructionscarefullybeforeusingthevehiclefortherst

time.

Failure to observe the instructions can result in numerous hazards (e.g. injury).

5. Required accessories

For the operation of the motorcycle, various accessories not included in the delivery (can be ordered separately) are

still required.

The following accessories are required:

• Batteries or rechargeable batteries for the remote control (refer to the remote control instructions for the type and

quantity required)

• One LiPo drive battery with 2 cells (rated voltage 7.4 V); alternatively, a NiMH drive battery with 6 cells (rated

voltage 7.2 V) can be used

• Suitable charger for remote control batteries/drive battery

For optimal use of the motorcycle, we recommend the following components:

• Spare tyres (in order to quickly change worn/damaged tyres)

• Tools (e.g. screwdriver, needle-nosed pliers, hex key)

• Compressed air spray (for cleaning)

• Thread-lockinguid(toxloosescrewconnections)

• Carry bag

6. Safety instructions

Damage caused due to failure to observe these instructions will void the warranty. We shall not be

liable for any consequential damages!

We shall not be liable for damage to property or personal injury caused by incorrect handling or

failure to observe the safety information! Such cases will void the warranty/guarantee.

Furthermore, normal wear and tear during operation (such as worn tires, worn gears or drive chain) and

accidental damage (such as broken chassis parts, etc.) are excluded from the warranty and guarantee.

Dear customer, these safety instructions are designed to ensure the safe operation of the product and your

personal safety. Read this section very carefully before using the product.

a) General information

Caution, safety hazard!

Thismodelhasthepotentialtocausedamagetopropertyand/orindividuals.Ensurethatyouaresufcient-

ly insured, e.g. by taking out private liability insurance. If you already have a personal liability insurance,

check with your insurance company whether the operation of the model is also insured.

• Theunauthorisedconversionand/ormodicationoftheproductisprohibitedforsafetyandapproval

reasons.

• This product is not a toy and is not suitable for children under 14 years of age.

• The product must not get damp or wet.

• Do not leave packaging material carelessly lying around, because it could become a dangerous toy for

children.

• If you have any questions that are not answered by these operating instructions, contact us (see chapter

1 for contact information) or an experienced technician.

Operation and handling of remote controlled models must be learned! If you have never steered such

avehicle,driveverycarefullyandrstgetusedtothereactionsofthemotorcycletotheremotecontrol

commands. Be patient!

Do not take any risks when using the product! Always use the model responsibly, otherwise you may

endanger yourself and your surroundings.

• Proper operation of the motorcycle requires occasional maintenance or repairs. For example, the tyres

may become worn, or some parts may be damaged due to driver error.

Only use genuine spare parts for maintenance and repair work.

b) Setup

• The manual for the remote control system is included separately. Always follow all the safety information

as well as all other information!

• Only use a suitable drive battery for the motorcycle. Never power the speed controller with a power

adapter, even for test purposes.

• This motorcycle is only suitable for a LiPo drive battery with 2 cells (rated voltage 7.4 V) or a NiMH drive

battery with 6 cells (rated voltage 7.2 V).

• Whenputtingthedeviceintooperationalwaysturnontheremotecontrolrst.Onlythenthedrivebattery

of the motorcycle may be connected to the speed controller and the speed controller can be switched on.

Otherwise, the vehicle might react unpredictably.

Proceed as follows:

- Open the lid of the battery holder and slide the drive battery into the battery holder.

- Connect the drive battery to the speed controller with the correct polarity (red = plus / +, black =

minus / -).

- Close the lid of the battery holder so that it snaps into place.

- Place the motorcycle on the rear axle on the supplied stand.

- Switch on the remote control, if you have not already done so. Check that it functions correctly (e.g.

transmitter's operating display).

- On the remote control, set the trim for the throttle/brake function to the central position.

- Turn on the speed controller. Wait for a few seconds until the speed controller has completed a self-

test.

- Waitfortheywheelintherearwheelofthemotorcycletoreachitsnominalspeed,whichwilltake

a few seconds.

- Check that the motorcycle reacts as expected to the remote control commands (steering and drive)

before starting the trip.

- If the drive does not perform as expected, follow the instructions in chapter 14.

c) Driving the motorcycle

• Improper use can cause serious injury and damage to property! Only use the vehicle when it is within

your sight. Do not use the vehicle at night.

• Only use the vehicle when you are fully alert and able to respond. Like in a real motorcycle, fatigue,

alcoholordruginuencecanleadtofalsereactions.

• Note that this model motorcycle should not be driven on public roads, squares and paths. Do not use the

vehicle on private land without the landowner's permission.

• Do not drive towards people or animals!

• Avoid driving in very low outdoor temperatures. Plastic parts lose their elasticity in cold temperatures.

This can result in serious damage even after a minor accident.

• Do not use the vehicle during thunderstorms, under high-voltage power lines or next to radio masts.

• Always leave the transmitter on while the motorcycle is in use.

• Toturnoffthemotorcycle,alwaysturnoffthespeedcontrollerrstandthendisconnectthedrivebattery

completely from the speed controller. Then switch off the remote control.

• If the batteries (or rechargeable batteries) in the remote control are weak, the transmission range de-

creases. Exchange the batteries or rechargeable batteries for new ones.

If the drive battery in the vehicle is weak, the motorcycle slows down or it does not respond correctly to

the transmitter.

The drive battery in the motorcycle not only serves to supply the engine via the speed controller but the

speed controller also generates the necessary voltage / power for the operation of the receiver and the

steering servo.

This voltage is generated via an integrated BEC ("battery eliminator circuit", an electronic circuit that

supplies voltage directly to the receiver without an additional receiver rechargeable battery).

If the drive battery voltage is too low, the voltage at the receiver may also drop, causing the motorcycle

to stop responding to the control commands at the transmitter.

In this case, stop driving immediately (switch off the speed controller, disconnect the drive battery

from the motorcycle and switch off the transmitter). Then replace or recharge the drive battery of the

motorcycle.

• Both engine and drive, as well as the speed controller and the drive battery of the motorcycle heat up

during operation. Take a break of at least 5–10 minutes before changing the rechargeable battery.

Allow the drive battery to cool down completely before charging.

Do not touch the engine, the speed controller or the rechargeable battery until they have cooled down.

Burn hazard!

• Always make sure that when using a LiPo drive battery, the low voltage detection is switched on (we

recommend 3.0 V/cell or higher).

If low voltage detection is disabled, LiPo rechargeable batteries may be deeply discharged and thereby

destroyed. This will void the warranty!

7. Battery safety information

Batteries present numerous safety hazards. Compared with conventional NiMH rechargeable bat-

teries, LiPo rechargeable batteries have a high energy content. For this reason, it is essential to

comply with safety regulations to prevent the risk of a re or explosion.

Always observe the following safety information when handling batteries.

• Keep batteries out of reach of children.

• Do not leave batteries lying around, as they present a choking hazard for children and pets. Seek im-

mediate medical advice if a battery is swallowed.

• Batteries/rechargeablebatteriesmustneverbeshort-circuited,takenapartorthrownintore.Thismay

cause an explosion!

• If you do not plan to use the model for an extended period (e.g. during storage), remove the batteries

from the remote control to prevent them from leaking and causing damage. Completely disconnect the

drive rechargeable batteries from the speed controller and remove them from the vehicle.

• When handling leaking or damaged batteries, always use suitable protective gloves to avoid burning

your skin.

• Liquids leaking from batteries are very chemically aggressive. Objects or surfaces coming into contact

with these liquids could be severely damaged. Always store batteries in a suitable location that is not

prone to damage.

• Donotattempttorechargedisposable,non-rechargeablebatteries.Thismaycauseareorexplosion!

Only recharge compatible rechargeable batteries and ensure that you use a suitable battery charger.

• Ensure the correct polarity of batteries/rechargeable batteries and the connection of a rechargeable

drive battery (note plus/+ and minus/-) when inserting the batteries.

• Never mix non-rechargeable batteries with rechargeable batteries. The remote control can be powered

with disposable or rechargeable batteries. For operational safety reasons, we recommend using dispos-

able batteries for the transmitter instead of rechargeable batteries.

• Always exchange the entire set of batteries in the remote control. Do not mix full batteries with half-full

ones. Always use batteries of the same type and from the same manufacturer.

• The type of charger you require may vary depending on the type of rechargeable battery (NiMH, LiPo....).

For example, you should never charge LiPo batteries with a NiMH battery charger. This may cause a

reorexplosion!

• To charge multi-cell LiPo batteries, a suitable balancer is required. A balancer (often referred to as an

equaliser) prevents the overcharging of a single LiPo cell by checking the individual cell voltages.

Overcharging a LiPo battery cell (max. cell voltage 4.24 V) can cause the battery to expand or even

resultinareorexplosion.

• Only charge intact and undamaged rechargeable batteries. Do not charge batteries if the external insu-

lationorbatteryhousingisdamaged,orifthebatteryisdeformedorswollen.Thismaycauseareor

explosion!

• Never charge batteries immediately after use. Always allow them to cool down for at least 5–10 minutes.

• Always remove the drive battery from the model before charging it. Disconnect the drive battery com-

pletely from the speed controller before charging.

• Place the charger and battery on a heat-resistant, non-combustible surface.

• Thechargerandbattery will heat upduringthecharging process.Therefore,keepa sufcient dis-

tance between the charger and the rechargeable battery, and never place a rechargeable battery on the

charger. Never cover the charger and the battery. Do not expose the charger or battery to extremely high/

low temperatures or direct sunlight.

• Never leave batteries unattended when they are charging.

• Rechargeable batteries should be charged regularly (approx. once every 2–3 months) to prevent them

from overdischarging. This may result in permanent damage and render the batteries useless.

LiPo batteries usually retain their charge for several months. However, if the batteries overdischarge, this

will result in permanent damage and render them useless.

• If LiPo rechargeable batteries are to be stored for a long time (for example, if you will not be operating

the vehicle in winter), they should not be fully charged, but only at about 50 to 75% of their maximum

capacity. Pay particular attention to the information of the rechargeable battery or charger manufacturer.

• Neveruseanexcessivechargingcurrent.Observethemanufacturer'sspecicationsfortheideal/maxi-

mum charging current.

• Disconnect the battery from the charger when the battery is fully charged.

• The charger and the rechargeable battery must not get damp or wet. This may result in a fatal electric

shockorcauseareorexplosion!

Lithium rechargeable batteries (e.g. LiPo batteries) contain chemicals that are very sensitive to moisture.

• This vehicle is only suitable for use with a LiPo drive battery with 2 cells (nominal voltage 7.4 V) or a

NiMH drive battery with 6 cells (nominal voltage 7.2 V). Using drive batteries with more cells can result

inarehazardduetooverheatingofthespeedcontrollerandoverloadingthedriveofthevehicleand

damaging it. This will void the warranty!

8. Setup

a) Mounting the crash bars

Mount the included crash bars (A) one on the left and one

on the right of the motorcycle.

Bend them with some force to give an arc shape so that

they can be stuck in the corresponding openings (B), see

picture on the right.

Thenyou canxthecrashbarswiththeprovidedgrub

screws (C).

The crash bar is mainly there so that the motorcycle can continue driving after tipping over.

For example, if the motorcycle slips off the rear wheel in a curve and stands sideways on the crash bar, it

isusuallysufcienttoaccelerateimmediatelyinordertobeabletosetitupagainafterstartingthedrive.

Theywheelrunningintherearwheelandservingasagyrohelps.

b) Inserting batteries/rechargeable batteries into the remote control

Open the battery compartment on the remote control and insert new or fully charged batteries. Ensure that the batter-

ies are inserted in the correct polarity (observe the positive/+ and negative/- markings). Close the battery compartment

again.

Read the remote control instructions included with the product.

c) Conguring the remote control

Switch on the remote control and set the steering and throttle trim to the central position.

If the remote control has a dual rate feature, disable it or adjust it so that the steering angle is not limited.

d) Inserting the drive battery into the vehicle, connecting the drive battery

The speed controller does not have a conventional slide switch for switching on/off, but an electronic push

button. Therefore, no preliminary manual switch-off is required when connecting the drive rechargeable

battery to the speed controller.

Caution!

First put the transmitter into operation before connecting the drive battery, see chapters 8. b) and 8. c).

The motorcycle is only suitable for a LiPo drive battery with 2 cells (rated voltage 7.4 V) or a NiMH drive

battery with 6 cells (rated voltage 7.2 V).

 Usingadrivebatterywithmorecellscanresultinarehazardduetooverheatingofthespeedcontroller

and overloading the drive of the vehicle and damaging it (such as drive gears, chain). This will void the

warranty!

Check whether the battery has a suitable connector system for the speed controller and that the polarity is

correct (red cable = positive/+, black cable = negative/-).

Press the release button on the left and right of the chassis

(see arrow on the right) so that the lid of the battery holder

can be opened downwards.

Hold the cable with the T-connector sideways and slowly

insert a fully charged drive battery into the battery com-

partment.

Be careful not to damage cables in the battery compart-

ment.

Now connect the drive battery to the speed controller. En-

sure you insert them with the correct polarity. Do not use

force when connecting the rechargeable battery plugs to

the speed controller.

Do not reach into the drive, keep clothing and

body parts or hair away from moving drive parts

(gears, drive chain). Do not hold the rear wheel.

Risk of injury!

Close the lid again so that the two release buttons on the

left and right engage in the chassis. Make sure that the

cable between the battery and the speed controller is not

pinched.

e) Putting the motorcycle in starting position

Pickupthesuppliedsupportstandandplaceitonaat,

even surface. Place the rear wheel of the motorcycle in the

openings on the left and right of the support stand so that

therearwheelcanrotatefreely(orthattheywheelcan

come up to speed).

There must be enough free space (at least 10 m) in the

direction of travel so that the motorcycle can start and ac-

celerate.

f) Switching on the speed controller

If you have not already done so, switch on the transmitter. Release the throttle / brake lever on the transmitter, do not

move it (neutral / centre position).

Only then switch on the motorcycle speed controller by

brieypressingtheon/offbutton.

The button is located on the right side under

the panel, about the knee height of the driver

gure.

The image on the right (see arrow) shows the

position of the on / off button when the driver

gure/cowlingisremoved.

The engine emits brief beeps and the LEDs (B) on the

speedcontrollerashbriey,thenthespeedcontrolleris

ready for use.

Beeps are generated by a brief activation of the motor.

IfaredLED(B)ashesrapidlyonthespeedcontroller,novalidtransmittersignalhasbeendetected.Switchonthe

transmitter (or learn the receiver on the transmitter again, see the remote control instructions).

Theywheelforthegyrofunction(intherearwheelofthemotorcycle)startsnowandslowlyincreasesthespeed.This

is inherently associated with a loud noise.

Waitafewsecondsuntiltheywheelreachesmaximumspeedandtheywheelnoisenolongerchanges.

 Theywheelstabilisesthemotorcycleintheuprightpositionsothatitcannottipoverevenwhendriving

relatively slowly. Experienced drivers can also do so-called "wheelies", i.e. driving on the rear wheel.

The motorcycle is now ready for departing.

g) Function check

The motorcycle must stand on the support stand, see chapter 8. e).

If you turn the wheel on the transmitter left or right, the front wheel of the motorcycle must turn in the same direction to

the left or right. If this is not the case, activate reverse switching for the steering function on the transmitter.

If the throttle / brake lever on the transmitter is moved in the direction of the handle, the rear wheel must turn in the

right direction (for forward drive).

Since reversing the motorcycle does not make sense, the rear wheel should not turn when you move the

throttle / brake lever away from the handle. If the rear wheel still turns, switch off the reverse drive, see

chapter 9.

h) Starting and steering the motorcycle

Aftertheywheelhasreachedmaximumspeed(andthesoundstops),pullthethrottle/brakelevertowardthehandle

so that the rear wheel begins to turn. Give the motorcycle a slight bump from the back so that it tilts forward from the

support stand and starts.

Do not make sudden adjustments to the remote control levers. Carefully operate the throttle / brake lever

and steering wheel on the transmitter until you have become familiar with the reactions of the motorcycle.

If the vehicle shows a tendency to move to one side, adjust the steering trim on the remote control accordingly.

The following images are for reference purposes only and do not necessarily correspond to the design of

the remote control/transmitter included with the product!

1. Release the throttle/brake lever (move it to the neutral position). The vehicle should roll to a halt or stay stationary

(if necessary, adjust the throttle trim on the remote control).

2. Slowly pull the throttle/brake lever towards the handle to make the vehicle move forwards.

3. Move the throttle/brake lever away from the handle without a pause to make the vehicle move forwards and brake

(the vehicle decelerates quickly rather than coming slowly to a standstill).

Move the throttle/brake lever on the remote control very carefully and drive slowly until you are familiar with

how the vehicle responds to the remote control. Do not make sudden adjustments to the remote control

levers.

Never point the remote control antenna directly to the vehicle, as this greatly reduces the range. The great-

est range is obtained when the remote control and vehicle antennas are upright and parallel to each other.

If the vehicle shows a tendency to move to one side, adjust the steering trim on the remote control accord-

ingly.

Discontinue use immediately if the vehicle does not respond as expected, or if the vehicle stops responding

to the remote control. If this occurs, the drive/remote control batteries may be nearly empty, or the vehicle

may be too far from the remote control.

A coiled/damaged receiver aerial, disturbances on the radio channel used (e.g. other models, radio trans-

missions from other devices, Bluetooth

®

, WLAN) or adverse transmission/reception conditions could also

be a cause of unusual vehicle responses.

Before you replace the empty drive battery with a fully charged battery and continue the trip, it is essential

towaitatleast5-10minutesuntiltheengineandthespeedcontrollerhavecooleddownsufciently.

i) Stopping the vehicle

To stop the vehicle, proceed as follows:

• Release the throttle/brake lever on the remote control so that it is in the neutral position, and then let the vehicle

coast to a standstill.

• At standstill, the motorcycle tilts on one side on the crash bar. Now switch off the speed controller by pressing and

holding the on / off button for more than 0.5 seconds. The red LED in the on / off button goes out.

 Donottouchthedrive(gears,drivechain),donotholdtherearwheelrmly.Nevermovethethrottle/brake

lever on the transmitter!

Caution!

The motor, speed controller and drive battery become very hot during use! Do not touch these parts im-

mediately after use – burn hazard!

• Disconnect the vehicle battery from the speed controller. Unscrew the plug-in connection completely.

• Then switch off the remote control.

9. Programming the speed controller

a) Adjusting the neutral and full throttle setting

If the vehicle does not stay stationary when the throttle/brake lever is in the neutral position, the throttle trim can be

adjustedonthetransmitter.Ifthetrimpathisinsufcient(orifthetrimisalmostattheendofthetrimpath),youcan

reprogram the neutral position and full throttle for forward drive or brake function. Do not reach into the drive during

programming!

Proceed as follows:

• Switch on the transmitter, leave the throttle/brake lever in the neutral position. Set the trim for the drive function to

the neutral position. The "TH.REV" slide switch of the included transmitter must be pushed upwards (in the direction

of the "TH.REV" inscription).

• Turn off the speed controller by pressing and holding

down the on/off button (A) for more than 0.5 seconds.

The red LED in the on / off button goes out.

• Keep the setup button (B) pressed and turn on the

speedcontrollerbybrieypressingtheon/offbutton(A).

• TheredLED(C)onthespeedcontrollerwillthenash

and the motor will emit beeps. Release the setup but-

ton.

Beeps are generated by a brief activation of the

motor.

• Release the throttle/brake lever on the remote control

so that it is in the neutral position.

• Ifyoupressthesetupbutton(B)briey,thegreenLEDonthespeedcontrollerwillashoncebrieyandyouwill

then hear a beep. The neutral position has been saved.

• Move the throttle/brake lever on the transmitter to the full speed throttle position, then pull it as far as it will go in the

direction of the handle and hold it there.

Caution!

If you do not move the throttle/brake lever on the transmitter or do not move it far enough during program-

ming, the vehicle may respond to even minute movements of the throttle/brake lever on the transmitter or

become uncontrollable upon completion of programming. In this case, reprogram it.

• Ifyoupressthesetupbutton(B)briey,thegreenLEDonthespeedcontrollerwillashtwicebrieyandyouwill

then hear two beeps. The full forwards throttle position will be saved.

• Move the throttle / brake lever to the brake position, push it away from the handle until it stops.

• Ifyoupressthesetupbutton(B)briey,thegreenLEDonthespeedcontrollerwillbrieyashthreetimesandyou

will hear three beeps. The braking position is stored.

• Release the throttle/brake lever to return it to the neutral position. Wait for at least three seconds. The speed con-

troller will exit settings mode and apply the new settings.

b) Programming additional functions

By default, the speed controller is preprogrammed with the optimal settings.

When using LiPo rechargeable batteries to operate the vehicle, check whether low voltage protection is

enabled in the default setting of the speed controller (normally 3.2 V per cell). When low voltage detection

is disabled, LiPo rechargeable batteries are subject to a deep discharge that destroys them.

The setup button can be used to program the settings.

Proceed as follows:

• Switch on the remote control, if you have not already done so.

• Turn off the speed controller by pressing and holding

down the on/off button (A) for more than 0.5 seconds.

The red LED in the on / off button goes out.

• Keep the setup button (B) pressed and turn on the

speedcontrollerbybrieypressingtheon/offbutton(A).

Keep holding down the setup button (B).

• TheredLED(C)ashesonthespeedcontroller and

the engine emits several beeps (keep the setup button

(B) pressed).

Beeps are generated by a brief activation of the

motor.

• Thespeedcontrolleristheninprogrammingmode.ThegreenLEDashes(keepthesetupbuttonpressed)andthe

motor beeps. This indicates which setup function is currently selected.

• Brieypressthesetupbuttontochangethesettingvalue;thenumberofashingsignalsfromtheredLED(and

motor beeps) will change accordingly (see table on the next page).

• Turn off the speed controller to exit settings mode and save the programming. If you then turn on the speed control-

ler, it will be ready for operation with the new settings.

• Follow the above steps to change the other settings.

The greyed out values are the default settings after a reset (see chapter 9. c). The speed controller of your

Overview of functions:

• Function #1, green LED ashes one time briey: Drive function

The speed controller can be switched between "Forward / Brake" and "Forward / Brake / Reverse" here. For the

motorcycle, the setting "Forward / Brake / Reverse" must not be used.

• Function #2, green LED ashes two times briey: Brake

If you release the throttle on the transmitter or move the throttle/brake lever on the transmitter back to the neutral

position, the vehicle will slow down by itself. The effect is just like the engine braking function on a "real" motorcycle

when you release the accelerator pedal without pressing the brake pedal. The brake functions like a brake on a

standard electric motor (a brushless electric motor does not have strong magnets that slow down the rotor).

• Function #3, green LED ashes three times briey: Low voltage protection

When operating the motorcycle with a LiPo drive battery, the low voltage protection must be switched on (we recom-

mend that you do not change the default setting of 3.2 V / cell).

A fully charged 2-cell LiPo battery has a voltage of approximately 8.4 V. If a cut-off voltage of 3.2 V / cell has been

programmed, the speed controller switches off the engine when it has a voltage of 6.4 V for 2 seconds (2 cells x

3.2 V). This prevents harmful deep discharge of the LiPo battery.

• Function #4, green LED ashes four times briey: Startup mode

The vehicle will start to move with more or less force depending on the setting. The higher the setting value, the

more current the engine draws from the connected rechargeable battery; so the rechargeable battery must be

high-performance. A higher setting should also be used only on loose ground, otherwise it will overload the drive

(gears, drive chain, tires).

• Function #5, green LED ashes ve times briey: Maximum brake force

The speed controller offers a proportional brake force depending on the position of the transmitter lever. The maxi-

mumbrakeforceatfulldeectionisadjustablebetween25%,50%,75%,and100%.Ahighsetting(e.g.,100%)

reduces the braking distance, but has a negative impact on the life of the drive (drive pinion, main gear, drive chain).

c) Resetting the speed controller

Usethisfunctiontoresetallconguredsettingstothefactorydefaults(seegreymarkingsinthetableinchapter9.b).

Proceed as follows:

• Switch on the remote control. Leave the throttle/brake lever in the neutral position, do not move it.

• Turnonthespeedcontroller(brieypresstheon/offbut-

ton (A)). Wait until the speed controller has completed

its self-test and the LEDs (C) on the speed controller

stopashing/glowing.

The speed controller must not be in program-

ming mode.

• Now hold down the Setup button (B) (do not let go).

• The red and green LED (C) on the speed controller

ashesslowlyatthesametime.

• IfthegreenLEDashesandyouhearshortbeeps,re-

lease the Setup button (B).

• The speed controller has been reset to the default settings, see table in chapter 9. b).

 Afteraresetofthespeedcontroller,youmustrstprogramtheneutralandfullthrottlepositions,asde-

scribed in chapter 9. a).

You can then change the default settings as described in chapter 9. b), if desired.

If a LiPo battery is used to drive the motorcycle, the low voltage protection must be activated. If low voltage

detection is switched off, the LiPo battery may be permanently damaged due to overdischarge.

10. Adjusting the shock absorber

At the upper end of the shock absorber, the spring tension can be adjusted by turning the knurled wheel.

The shock absorbers could be mounted at different positions at the top and bottom. However, the manufacturer has

already chosen an optimal position here, and in addition, a change has only a small effect on the driving behaviour.

As with a "real" motorcycle, the shock absorber (or the rubber seals in the shock absorber) is a wearing part. If the oil

runs out of the shock absorber (for example, the rear rocker gets heavily oiled, dripping marks), the seals or shock

absorbers must be replaced.

11. Cleaning and maintenance

a) General information

Before cleaning or maintenance, the speed controller must be turned off and the drive battery must be completely dis-

connected from the speed controller. If you have previously used the motorcycle, allow all parts (such as the engine,

speedcontrolleretc.)tocooldownrst.

Afteryouhavenishedusingthevehicle,removealldustanddirt(e.g.usingacleanlong-hairedbrushandavacuum

cleaner). Compressed air aerosols can also help to remove dirt.

Do not use cleaning sprays or conventional household cleaning chemicals. These may damage the electronic compo-

nents and discolour the plastic parts or chassis.

Never wash the vehicle with water, e.g. with a high-pressure cleaner.

Towipethebodyorthedrivergure,asoft,slightlymoistenedclothcanbeused.Donotrubtoohard,asthismay

result in scratch marks.

b) Before and after each use

Enginevibrationsandimpactsduringdrivingmaycausecertainpartsandscrewttingstobecomeloose.

Before and after each use, check the following:

• Firm seat of all screw connections

• Check that the speed controller, on/off switch and receiver are secure

• Condition of the tires

• Check that all cables are attached (they should not touch moving parts of the vehicle)

Check the vehicle for any signs of damage before and after each use. If there are any signs of damage,

discontinue use immediately.

Only use genuine spare parts when replacing worn vehicle parts (e.g. tyres) or defective vehicle parts.
