How do I reset my Beoplay E8 Sport and
remove all paired Bluetooth devices?
If you want to remove all paired Bluetooth devices or are experiencing issues while trying to
connect, you can reset Beoplay E8 Sport to factory settings as described below:

Fully charge your Beoplay E8 Sport
• Place both earphones in the charging case.
• Connect the included USB-A to USB-C cable to your charging case and to a charging
adapter, and connect the charging adapter to a power supply.
After charging your Beoplay E8 Sport for 2.5 hours, they're ready for the next step.
Note: A charging adapter of a maximum of 5V / 3A can be used to charge your Beoplay
E8 Sport.

Switch on Beoplay E8 Sport
• Remove both earphones from the charging case. Switch on your Beoplay E8 Sport by
tapping the right earbud once you remove them.
• The light indicator will turn white which indicates that the Beoplay E8 Sport are
switched on.

Reset your Beoplay E8 Sport
• Press and hold the touch areas on the left and right earphone of your Beoplay E8 Sport
for 10 seconds until the light indicator flashes red.
After resetting, you will need to pair your Beoplay E8 Sport to your mobile device
again.
This means that you need to remove Beoplay E8 Sport from the list of paired Bluetooth
devices on your mobile device before adding them again.
I cannot enable Bluetooth pairing mode on
my Beoplay E8 Sport. What can I do?
In case the left earbud has lost connection to the right or has been replaced, it needs to be paired
to the right earbud before Bluetooth pairing mode can be enabled.
IMPORTANT:
Before continuing:
1. Leave both earbuds in the charging case connected to USB power for at least 1 hour.
2. Check that the status indicators on both earbuds turn white when removing them from
the charging case.
3. After removing the earbuds from the charging case, press and hold both touch areas on
the earbuds simultaneously for 3-5 seconds.
o If the light indicator in both earbuds is now flashing blue, continue on your device
to pair to Bluetooth
o If not, please follow the steps below.
Depending on the software version of the earbuds, there are different methods to pair the two
earbuds. Please follow the instructions below to get the correct instructions.
1. Determine the software version of the earbuds.
o If your Beoplay E8 Sport previously have been added to the Bang & Olufsen app,
you can check the software version by going to Settings -> Products -> Select
your Beoplay E8 Sport -> About -> Software.
o If your Beoplay E8 Sport have never been added to the app, the production code
printed in the charging case can (with exceptions) indicate the software version of
the earbuds.
2. Select the instructions below that fits the software version of your Beoplay E8 Sport:
o Software version 5.8.0 and above (production code 2011 or higher)
o Software version 5.7.0 and below (production code lower than 2011)
