How do I reset my Beoplay EX to factory settings?
If you want to remove all paired Bluetooth devices or are experiencing issues while trying to
connect, you can reset Beoplay EX to factory settings as described below:
1. Remember to fully charge your Beoplay EX.
- Connect the USB-C cable to your charging case and to a charging adapter.
2. An orange flashing light indicates that they are charging.
3. The charging time is approximately 2 hours.
4. When the charging case is fully charged (100% battery), the indicator becomes solid green for
5 seconds.
Note: The maximum recommended charging adapter is 5V / 3A.

o Place both earphones in the charging case and close the case lid.
o Fully open the charging case lid*.

o Press and hold on the touch field on both the left and right earphone.
o After 6 seconds, Bluetooth pairing mode will be triggered (light indicator flashing
blue). Keep holding on the touch fields.
Factory reset will complete after 20 seconds (light indicator flashing red)
Note: Once the light indicator on the charging case has flashed red 5 times, it will turn off, and
the factory reset has completed.
Beoplay EX have now been reset and must be removed from the list of paired Bluetooth devices
on your mobile device before being added again.

*Be careful not to use force. Opening the lid more than 90 degrees may cause scratch marks on
the charging case.

Charging the earphones
o Make sure that both earphones in the charging case. The light indicator will flash orange
to indicate that they are charging.
o When Beoplay EX are fully charged (100% battery), the light indicator becomes solid
green.
Note: 20 minutes of charge gives up to 2 hours of playtime. The light indicator on the
charging case will pulse orange when the earphones are charging.

o Connect the USB-C cable to your charging case and to a power adapter or place it on a
Qi-certified charging pad. The light indicator on the charging case will pulse orange to
indicate that they are charging.
o The charging time is approximately 2 hours.
o When the charging case is fully charged (100% battery), the light indicator becomes
solid green for 5 seconds.
Note: The maximum recommended charging adapter is 5V / 3A.
