The PeTrack will help keep track of your pet on-demand with your mobile phone. There are
various
features, please take your time to follow through step by step to get familiar with your
device and
eventually you’ll become a pro. Once up and online and with your understanding the
PeTrack will ensure
safety for your pet for many dog years to come.
All information and instructions included in this User Guide are current as of November 2016.

KEEP IN MIND
1.
The PeTrack can be worn by your pet at all times. That said, the PeTrack is waterproof
and dirt
proof however it should not be submerged for long periods of time. Remember
to close/seal
the charging port with its rubber door and use the mini screw plugs
provided.
2.
Charge the device as soon as you receive a low battery notification. Also please
remember to always power cycle (turn off then on) the PeTrack after disconnecting from
your
charger. If you do not intend to use it at the moment, power it off.
3.
The PeTrack must not be located or operating in conjunction with any other collar
antenna or transmitter. This will cause interference with the PeTrack. More than one
PeTrack
is fine.
4.
The PeTrack is designed for the outdoors, it cannot be used indoors or your GPS tracking
results
will be poor.

GETTING STARTED
LOCATE/BUY PREPAID GSM SIM CARD
1.
You will need a simple Prepaid GSM SIM Card (Standard Size, see Page 5 for correct
size. SIM
Cards by default come in multiple sizes, its important you use the largest size
card they offer.)
You can get a prepaid or pay-as-you-go SIM card from T-Mobile local stores and its resellers. You
can also go to the link below.

The PeTrack is like a sophisticated cellular phone, you will now need a SIM card / cellular
provider
for this device in order for it to notify you of its whereabouts at any given time.
This allows your
PeTrack to send you text messages of its location.
3.
Fortunately the use of GPS satellites is free, but the use of GSM cellular phone towers
is not.
However the GSM cost is negligible considering the PeTrack only requires text
messages to
inform you of its location. (Only a Basic Talk and Text plan is required)
4.
If you’re not sure what provider to use or where to locate a Prepaid GSM SIM Card,
contact
the vendor you purchased your PeTrack from and they can quickly locate an
economical
GSM carrier for your area.
ACTIVATE AND LOAD YOUR SIM CARD WITH FUNDS
1.
Once you have a SIM Card handy, ensure you’ve activated it through the SIM Card’s
carrier’s
website. Alternatively you can call them to activate it. They may ask you if you
want to buy a
phone or what phone it is for, etc… You simply tell them you would like to activate and fund your
SIM card; you do not need any other hardware.
2.
Reload/Recharge/Fund/Put Money On to the SIM CARD. There are various names for
this;
however they all have the same meaning, after activation you will need to put
funds on
your new SIM card in order for it to work. Depending on the plan you selected,
the cost will vary
but most are very economical. Only select a plan according to what
you believe your needs
will be. We recommend a simple low cost Pay As You Go plan, so
this way you’re not paying for a
subscription.
INSTALLING SIM CARD
Please first make sure that the GSM SIM card you are using is already activated, has a phone
number
from the cellular carrier, and funding is loaded on the SIM card, so it’s ready to use.
This device only
works with a specific size SIM card. The correct size to use is a Full Size /
Standard SIM Card, not a
micro-SIM or nano-SIM size (see example on next page).

Steps to Install the SIM Card:
1.
Loosen 4 screws with the screw driver included.
2.
Remove the back cover and insert the SIM card into the slide slot with the gold-plated
contacts facing downwards.
3.
Put the cover back with the USB side and gently and evenly tighten 4 screws back in.
4.
Insert the 4 waterproof plugs over the screws.
CHARGING and CLIP ASSEMBLY
Charging
Connect the PeTrack to the AC Adapter via the USB
cable. For the first two charges, charge overnight
to
help condition the battery.
REMEMBER: Once the PeTrack is fully charged you will see the Red LED turn off. Once
disconnected from the charging cable, power cycle before using the PeTrack.
Clip Assembly
Put the collar included (or your own) through the
clip.
BUCKLE LOCKING CLIP
Assemble the PeTrack and the clip according to the arrow mark on both sides. Turn
counterclockwise to lock it (VERY IMPORTANT). Please refer to the images on the next page.

RUBBER SUPPORT BANDS
If your pet is commonly active or just likes to scratch or rub his collar. We highly recommend
using
the support bands for as an extra precaution to prevent the PeTrack from
twisting/unlocking and
falling off.
TURN ON/OFF
On the back of the PeTrack are 3 LED’s you will not see them as they’re covered by the
waterproof casing. Pay close attention to the back of the unit to help identify their location and
the
PeTrack’s state. The Power button is located on the side of the unit, opposite to the
charging
port. Please remember to watch the YouTube video in the example below.
ON Press and hold the power for 5 seconds. Three LED lights will all flash at the same time,
for a split
second. The PeTrack is now ON and will continue to blink slowly every 15-30 seconds.
OFF Press and hold the power for 10 seconds. Three LED lights will blink in sequential order.
It is now
powered OFF.

physically shake the unit every minute while you’re outside or it needs to be attached to an active pet
which is outside. Otherwise you’ll have no response, as it’s completely
dependent on motion detection to
conserve its battery power.
LOW POWER SETTING
When the device is in low power, it will send an SMS alert to the notification phone number you
configure on the PeTrack (not the PeTracks / SIM Card number, but your personal mobile phone
number).
To set this alert, please follow the steps below.
Send the following Text message to your PeTrack:
515#0000#15554443333
In place of 1 put your country code if outside the United States, then the mobile phone
number
of the phone you want the alert sent to.
(Country Code + Area Code + 7 Digit Number)
REMEMBER: Your PeTrack will fall asleep automatically after sitting still for more than 3
minutes,
if you’re trying to setup your APN, or call it, or text it, or just getting it to respond, you
need to either
physically shake the unit every minute while you’re outside or it needs to be
attached to an active
pet which is outside. Otherwise you’ll have no response, as it’s completely
dependent on motion
detection to conserve its battery power.
ON-DEMAND TRACKING
The following is an explanation on how to use your PeTrack without having to download
anything, such as a mobile App. A major benefit to using this method of tracking alone (without
a mobile
app) is that the battery will last longer per charge. Also note this method of tracking
only requires

TALK\TEXT for your PeTrack’s SIM card.
1)
From your personal cellular phone, call your PeTrack (this number would be the new
number for your new SIM card) and allow it to ring until it hits either “The User’s
Voicemail is not yet setupor your Voicemail, then hang up.
2)
You will receive a text message within a minute or two. You will get one of the two
responses:
Response 1: When GPS reception is good. This is an accurate update.

Your cellular phone will have a hyperlink highlighted, simply click it and you will be asked
to open
it with your internet browser or Google maps, either or is fine.

TRACKING WITH APPS
There are two ways of tracking your pet using PeTrack Mobile Apps; you can either track
through
TBPT App (TALK/TEXT only) or i-Server App (TEXT/GPRS only). It all depends on your
preference, need,
and smartphone type.
TRACKING BY MOBILE APP
Selecting an APP is a matter of the smartphone technology you have and personal preference.
Try one
or the other, and find what suits you best. Download the TBPT App or i-Server App
from your Google
Play App Store (Android) and Apple App Store (iPhone) or through the direct

HOW TO START TRACKING W/ TBPT APP
1. Tap the large PeTrack icon. 2. Refresh.
3. Dial the SIM card phone number. 4. The location on the map will
be updated and current.

SPECIAL NOTE: The App will dial the number of the SIM card in the PeTrack after taping Refresh and will
just
automatically hang up. Although there are some smartphones that do not automatically hang
up,
just manually hang up the call.
GEO-FENCE SETTING (TBPT App Only)
This function will send you an SMS alert when the pet runs out of the Geo-fence are you set.
However, it will not send an alert if the pet runs back to the Geo-fence area.
This function may cause extra SMS charge since when using Geo-fence; GPS will be forced to
turn on.
To set this function, please follow the steps below.
1. Tap any location on the map for 3 seconds 2. Tap ok.
as central point for Geo-Fence.
3. Set the distance. 4. Select the device then tap OK.

SERVER TEXT/GPRS/DATA LIVE-BASED TRACKING
For TEXT/GPRS/Data live-based tracking, make sure to download/install the i-Server application
from
either Google Play App Store or iPhone App Store depending on the brand of your
smartphone
you are using. Make sure to setup the Access Point Name (APN) first before
installing the app.

APN (Access Point Name) Setup
1.
Ask your SIM card provider for the APN of your SIM card to allow GPRS internet access
to your
PeTrack. For example, for AT&T Wireless this may beepc.tmobile.com for T-Mobile. (You must first
have a data plan and confirm the APN name with the provider.)
2.
Once your SIM card is installed, remember to turn on your PeTrack and place it outside
for the
time being.
3.
From your mobile phone, send a text message to your PeTrack (phone number will be
the one
provided to you by the SIM card provider). Send text command:
Format: 510#0000#(Enter APN Here)
Sample: 510#0000#att.mvno
REMEMBER: If you would like to delete your APN and switch back to the TBPT App or
On-
Demand Tracking (no app required), send text:
510#0000#0
4.
Allow enough time to receive a text message response back reading SETUP OK” and a
series of
technical data. Once this has been received, you may continue to the next step.
If you have not
received this, try again and relocate the device in a better reception
area. Contact us if you
still are having troubles with the APN setup.

ADD and DELETE DEVICE (PeTrack)
There are two ways to add a device in i-Server app and they are as follows:
ADD Device
Enter the exact IMEI number that is on the PeTrack itself then
press
Create button under the device menu. Alternatively,
scan the IMEI
barcode (click Scan the IMEI button) to add
the device.
DELETE Device
1.
Press Delete Devicebutton.
2.
Then, press Deletebutton.
DISPLAY and HIDE the DEVICE
After adding the device, the default display
status of
the device is ON and the device will
display the map.
When the status is OFF, the
device will hide on the map.
To switch the display status of the device on
the map,
you can press the ON/OFF button.

CHANGE PICTURE ICON
You have the option to change the picture
icon
that’s displayed on the upper left of the
i-Server
app. To change the icon picture,
please follow the
steps below:
1.
Tap the picture icon and the INFO
page will open.
2.
You can then select from the app’s
pre-
saved picture by tapping
Default picture
or you can choose
from the pictures
taken/saved by your
phone by tapping on
Album”. You
can also tapTake Picture” if
you
want to take a picture for the icon.

TapSaveto save the changes
made.

CHECKING GPS STATUS
To check the GPS Status, please
follow the
steps below:
1.
Tap the GPS status icon
(refer to number
6 label on
the picture on the right) on
the upper right of the screen.
2.
Tap Select Device icon
(number 7 label).
You can
select the device you want to
check if you have multiple
tracking devices.
HISTORY ROUTE
To check the history route, press the History Mode icon the on the lower right of the map
(refer to
number 9 label on the picture below).

GPS and LBS SIGNAL
The PeTrack will primarily track with GPS
when the GPS signal is good and as a
backup
track with LBS when the GPS signal
is weak.
REMEMBER: LBS is a GSM form of
tracking it
is far from accurate, it’s just a
generalized
location within a few blocks to
a few miles.
PARAMETER SETTINGS
1.
Select Device: Select the setting for the certain device among the multiple devices.
2.
Change Nickname: Change your device name.
3.
Report Time: Setup a certain time in the app for the device to update data to the
database. The suggested report time is not less than 5 minutes to save the device’s
power.
This setup is also available under Settings which is on the lower right of the
app.
4.
Urgent Number: Set a number where you want to receive alert to inform you that
device
has low power and needs charging.

Time Zone: Select your correct time zone.
APP SETTINGS
If you want to change the language setting, report or
refresh time of the device or change screen lock
settings
then go to the App settings by tapping
Settings on the
lower right.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Below are possible issues that you may encounter when using the device. If the issue you are
having is
not on the list you may visit our FAQ section (http://Help.ElectroFlip.com) or you can
contact us
through our website www.ElectroFlip.com , and visit to our Contact Us page for our
most recent
contact information.
1.
I have inserted a SIM card to the device but it is still not working. What
should I do?
Please make sure that the following has been checked before inserting the SIM card to
the
PeTrack:
a.
Did you activate your SIM card?
b.
Did you put money on your SIM card and get a new phone number from the
SIM
card carrier?

c.
Did you install the correct size sim card a Standard Sim Card (Page 4 )?
d.
Is the SIM card installed properly, with contacts facing down towards PeTrack
contacts?
2.
I have tried tracking the PeTrack but I’m not getting any response from the
device. Why?
Make sure that the device is not standby mode when you are tracking it. If the device is
in standby
mode you won’t be able to track it. PeTrack automatically goes to standby
mode when it is kept
still for 3 minutes. If this happens, just slightly touch the device to
wake it up.
3.
Why did I not receive the low battery alert message when my PeTrack was
low in battery?
The low battery alert of PeTrack is not automatically activated when you use the device.
You will
need to activate it manually before using the device. After you have fully
charged the device
and have inserted the SIM card you can go ahead and activate this
alert. You may follow the steps
below:
Send the following Text message to your PeTrack:

In place of 1 put your country code if outside the United States, then the mobile phone
number of
the phone you want the alert sent to.
(Country Code + Area Code + 7 Digit Number)
4.
What to do if i-Server App won’t let me add a device?
Make sure that the APN (Access Point Name) has been configured on the SIM card
inserted in
PeTrack and double check with the SIM card provider for the correct APN if
you are not sure. Data
plan should also be activated.
You can refer to Page 11 for the steps on how to setup the APN (Access Point Name).
5.
What to do if i-Server App reads: “Failed to Create New Device, please check
IMEI is correct”?
If you have not setup the APN (Access Point Name) of the SIM card inserted in the
PeTrack
please refer to Page 11 for the steps. If you have already set it up and still
can’t add the IMEI of
PeTrack, double check with the SIM card provider for the correct
APN or alternative APN. And,
make sure also that data plan is activated for that SIM
card.
6.
Why the i-Server does not work?
The i-Server will not work if the APN of the inserted SIM card in PeTrack has not been
setup.
Make sure that you setup the APN (follow the steps on Page 11 ) before using i-
Server. If you

are not sure of the APN of the SIM card, consult the SIM card provider.
Also, double check if
data plan has been activated for the SIM card.
7.
My PeTrack’s GPS location seems off and hasn’t updated in a while but my pet
is moving
around often.
a.
Is the battery dead?
b.
Is there money on the SIM card?
c.
Is your pet outside? (if indoors GPS and GSM reception will be limited)
d.
Is it powered on? (you might think its ON, but it’s actually been OFF)
e.
If above points are covered, then try and Text command: 703#0000 to
refresh
your PeTracks GPS module, and help it locate a new array of satellites
in the area.
