Work area
1. Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluered and dark areas invite accidents.
2. Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of ammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks which may
ignite the dust or fumes.
3. Keep children and bystanders away while operang a power tool. Distracons can cause you to lose control.
Electrical Safety
1) Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord to carry the tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges, or moving parts.
Replace damaged cords immediately. Damaged cords may create a re.
(The following applies only to tools with a separate baery pack)
2) A baery operated tool with integral baeries or a separate baery pack must be recharged only with the specied charger for the baery. A charger that
may be suitable for one type of baery may create a risk of re when used with another baery.
Personal Safety
1. Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operang a power tool. Do not use a power tool while you are red or under the inuence
of drugs, alcohol or medicaon. A moment of inaenon while operang power tools may result in serious personal injury.
2. Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Contain long hair. Keep your hair, clothing, and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jew-
ellery, or long hair can be caught in moving parts.
3. Avoid accidental starng. Be sure switch is in the locked or o posion before inserng baer pack. Carrying tools with your nger on the switch invites
accidents.
4. Do not overreach. Keep proper foong and balance at all mes. Proper foong and balance enable beer control of the tool in unexpected situaons
5. Use safety equipment. Always wear eye protecon, Dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protecon must be used for appropriate condi-
ons.
Power tool use and care
1. Use clamps or other praccal ways to secure and support the work piece to a stable plaorm. Holding the work piece by hand or against your body is unstable
and may lead to loss of control.
2. Do not force tool. Use the correct tool for your applicaon. The correct tool will do the job beer and safer at the rate for which it is designed.
3. Do not use tool if switch does not turn it on of o. A tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
4. Store idle tools out of reach of children and other untrained persons. Tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users
5. Maintain tools with care. Keep cung tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained tools with sharp cung edge are less likely to bind and are easier to control.
6. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts, and any other condion that may aect the tool’s operaon. If damaged, have the tool
serviced before using .Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained tools.
7. Use only accessories that are supplied with your model. Other accessories that may not be suitable for this tool and may create a risk of injury when used.
Specic Safety Rules

1. Before use, make sure that this cleaner must be used by people who have been adequately instructed on the use of this cleaner.
2. Do not use the cleaner without the lter. Replace a damaged lter immediately.
3. AVOID UNINTENTIONAL STARTING. Be sure switch is OFF when installing baery(ies).
4. Do not aempt to pick up ammable materials, re works, lighted cigarees, hot ashes, hot metal chips, sharp materials such as razors, needles, broken
glass or the like.
5. NEVER USE THE CLEANER IN THE VICINITY OF GASOLINE, GAS, PAINT, ADHESIVES OR OTHER HIGHLY EXPLOSIVE SUBSTANCES. The switch emits sparks when
turned ON and OFF. And so does the motor commutator during operaon. A dangerous explosion may result.
6. Never vacuum up toxic, carcinogenic, combusble or other hazardous materials such as asbestos, arsenic, barium, beryllium, lead, pescides, or other health
endangering materials.
7. Never use the cleaner outdoors in the rain.
8. Do not use close to heat sources (stoves, etc.).
9. Do not block sucon inlet/outlet/cooling vents. These vents permit cooling of the motor. Blockage should be carefully avoided otherwise the motor will burn
out from lack of venlaon.
10. Keep proper foong and balance at all mes.
11. Do not fold, tug or step on the hose.
12. Stop the cleaner immediately if you noce poor performance or anything abnormal during operaon.
13. REMOVE THE BATTERY(IES). When not in use, before servicing, and when changing accessories.
14. Clean and service the cleaner immediately aer each use to keep it in ptop operang condion.
15. MAINTAIN THE CLEANER WITH CARE. Keep the cleaner clean for beer and safer performance. Follow instrucons for changing accessories. Keep handles
dry, clean, and free from oil and grease.
16. CHECK DAMAGED PARTS. Before further use of the cleaner, a guard or other part that is damaged should be carefully checked to deter- mine that it will
operate properly and perform its intended funcon. Check for alignment of moving parts, binding of moving parts, breakage of parts, mounng, and any other
condions that may aect its operaon. A guard or other part that is damaged should be properly repaired or replaced by an authorized service center unless
otherwise indicated elsewhere in this instrucon manual. Have defecve switches replaced by authorized service center. Do not use the cleaner if switch does
not turn it on and o.
17. REPLACEMENT PARTS. When servicing, use only idencal replacement parts.
18.STORE IDLE CLEANER. When not in use, the cleaner should be stored indoors.
