andmentallyabletooperateanelectricvehicle.Ithasbeenclassified
accordingtoEN12184asaclassAmobilityproduct.Thismeans
itisacompact,manoeuvrablevehiclemainlyforinternaluseandnot
necessarilycapableofnegotiatingoutdoorobstacles.

Forreasonsofsafetyandinordertoavoidaccidents
whichresultfromunnoticedwear,itisimportantthat
thiselectricmobilityproductundergoesaninspection
onceeveryyearundernormaloperatingconditions
(seeinspectionplancontainedinserviceinstructions).
Underdifficultoperatingconditionssuchasdailytravel
onsteepslopes,orinthecaseofuseinmedicalcare
caseswithfrequentlychangingwheelchairusers,it
wouldbeexpedienttocarryoutintermediatechecks
onthebrakes,accessoriesandrunninggear.
2.3Safetyinformationonelectromagnetic
interference
Thiselectricvehiclewassuccessfullytestedinaccordancewith
InternationalstandardsastoitscompliancewithElectromagnetic
Interference(EMI)regulations.However,electromagneticfields,
suchasthosegeneratedbyradioandtelevisiontransmitters,and
cellularphonescaninfluencethefunctionsofelectricvehicles.Also,
theelectronicsusedinourvehiclescangeneratealowlevelof
electromagneticinterference,whichhoweverwillremainwithinthe
tolerancepermittedbylaw.Forthesereasonsweaskyoutoplease
observethefollowingprecautions:

tilt-resistantgradientandonlywiththebackrestin
anuprightposition,andtheseatlifterinthelowest
position(ifinstalled).
Onlyeverdrivedownhillatamaximumof2/3ofthe
topspeed.Avoidabruptbrakingoracceleratingon
gradients.
Ifatallpossible,avoiddrivingonslipperysurfaces
(suchassnow,gravel,iceetc.)wherethereisarisk
ofyoulosingcontroloverthevehicle,especiallyona
gradient.Ifdrivingonsuchasurfaceisinevitable,then
alwaysdriveslowlyandwiththeutmostcaution.
