Hill-Rom Home Blood Pressure Monitors, Welch Allyn Home Hypertension Program User manual

  • Hello! I'm your chat assistant, and I've reviewed the Welch Allyn Blood Pressure Monitor user manual. This document provides detailed instructions on how to use the device correctly, including cuff placement, proper body positioning, and pairing the device with your smartphone via Bluetooth. I'm ready to answer your questions about it!
  • Where should I place the blood pressure cuff?
How far from the elbow bend should the cuff be positioned?
How should I position myself while taking a blood pressure reading?
How do I pair the device with my smartphone?
Place the cu over your
bare upper arm so that
the blood pressure tube
runs down the middle
of your forearm.
Confirm that the bottom
edge of the cu is 2 finger
widths (about 1 inch) above
the bend in your arm.
Sit comfortably in a chair
that supports your back.
Place feet flat on the floor.
Keep legs uncrossed.
Support your arm on a
flat surface, and ensure
the cu is level with your
heart (right atrium).
Rest for 5 minutes after sitting down and
positioning the blood pressure cu.
Press to begin the blood pressure
measurement.
