Safer Socket is a unique device that
uses patent-pending technology to
protect against electrical fires. When
an electrical product is plugged into
the Safer Socket, it will monitor the
temperature of the plug to make sure
that it is operating at a safe
temperature. Should there be a rise in
temperature which could lead to
an electrical fire, Safer Socket will
automatically shut off the device that is
plugged into it to prevent damage.
Safer Socket’s indicator light shows
green when the unit is plugged in and
energized and red when overheating
has taken place and your electrical
device is shut off. Resetting is simple.
Wait about 10 minutes for the plug to
cool and unplug Safer Socket from your
wall outlet and plug it in again. The
green light will illuminate and you can
use your electrical devices again. If the
problem persists, we recommend that
you contact a qualified electrician to
examine the faulty outlet or discontinue
use of that outlet.

Important Instructions
1. This device is not intended for use in
bathrooms, laundry areas and
similar indoor locations. Never
locate the device where it may fall
into a bathtub or other water
container.
2. Do not touch the metal parts to
avoid static electricity.
3. Do not use outdoors.
4. The device is not to be used by
children or persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have
been given supervision or
instruction.

3-Year Limited Warranty
The manufacturer warrants that
your new Safer Socket is free from
manufacturing and material defects
for a period of three years from date
of puchase.
This warranty is void if:
a. The Safer Socket is subjected to
prolonged periods of dampness or
condensation.
b. Any unauthorized alteration,
willful abuse, accident, or misuse
of the product.
c. You do not have the original
receipt of purchase.
