How to set LVD Setpoints for the Any-Cell for Any-Grid with U2
version 106.21 and below (no ‘ANY’ battery type in menu 5)
1.0 Voltage Setpoints equivalent DOD%
A firmware update will be made available unlocking DOD changes with SOC %, using the “ANY” battery type
on the PSW-H inverters in menu 05. In the meantime, to customize the DOD for the Any-Cell at less than the
default 90% with no ‘ANY’ battery type option in menu 5, please use the voltages below.
Note – these are approximate equivalent voltages read by the Any-Grid and are for reference only. The Any-
Cell terminal voltage is susceptible to the discharge current – higher currents will see a lower terminal
voltage. The voltage set in menu 29 is fixed and independent of the load power/battery current.
Please keep in mind that these are approximate values and will vary with operating conditions and assume
adequate cabling (length and thickness). They may need adjustment from the values shown. Exact DOD%
values are not guaranteed except for the default 90% automatic limit.

*The default limit of 90% DOD is controlled automatically by the AB-PLC-CAN and triggers an LVD when the
Any-Cell reaches an SOC of 10%. No action needed for 90% DOD. This DOD% will occur at exactly 10% SOC.
