Using your appliance

damage. Replace the charger if the

using the tool which may not be included

in the enclosed safety warnings. These

risks can arise from misuse, prolonged

Even with the application of the

implementation of safety devices, certain

residual risks can not be avoided. These

u Injuries caused by touching any

moving parts.

Batteries and chargers

Batteries

u Never attempt to open for any reason.

u Do not expose the battery to water.

u Do not expose the battery to heat.

u Do not store in locations where the

temperature may exceed 40°C.

u Charge only at ambient temperatures

between 10°C and 40°C.

u Charge only using the charger

provided with the appliance/tool. Using

the wrong charger could result in an

electric shock or overheating of the

battery.

u When disposing of batteries, follow

the instructions given in the section

"Protecting the environment".

u Do not damage/deform the battery

pack either by puncture or impact, as

this may create a risk of injury and re.

u Do not charge damaged batteries.

u Under extreme conditions, battery

leakage may occur. When you notice

liquid on the batteries carefully wipe

the liquid off using a cloth. Avoid skin

contact.

u In case of skin or eye contact, follow

the instructions below.

Charging a Battery

BLACK+DECKER chargers are designed to charge

BLACK+DECKER battery packs.

Note: To ensure maximum performance and life of lithium

ion battery packs:

u Charge the battery pack fully before rst use.

u Recharge discharged batteries as soon as possible

after every use.

u Do not discharge batteries fully.

Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not

to be mixed;

Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity;

Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the appliance

and safely disposed of;

If the appliance is to be stored unused for a long period, the

batteries should be removed;

The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.

Warning! The battery uid may cause

personal injury or damage to property. In

case of skin contact, immediately rinse

with water. If redness, pain or irritation

occurs seek medical attention. In case of

eye contact, rinse immediately with clean

water and seek medical attention.

Chargers

Your charger has been designed for a

specic voltage.

Always check that the mains voltage

corresponds to the voltage on the rating

plate and the information in the technical

data table.

Warning! Never attempt to replace the

charger unit with a regular mains plug.

u Use your BLACK+DECKER charger

only to charge the battery in the

appliance/tool with which it was

supplied. Other batteries could burst,

causing personal injury and damage.

u Never attempt to charge

nonrechargeable batteries.

u If the supply cord is damaged, it must

be replaced by the manufacturer or an

authorised BLACK+DECKER Service

Centre in order to avoid a hazard.

u Do not expose the charger to water.

u Do not open the charger.

u Do not probe the charger.

u The appliance/tool/battery must be

placed in a well ventilated area when

charging.

Electrical safety

Your charger has been designed for a

Operation

u Press the Power Button (11) as shown in gure A

u Unit starts in high speed. press button again to slow

speed.

u Press the Power Button once more, the appliance stops

working.

Attaching Accessories

u If you need to use the accessory Brush (8), insert the

Brush into the air inlet as shown in gure B and then start

the appliance.

u If you need to use the accessory Crevice Nozzle (7), insert

the Crevice Nozzle into the air inlet as shown in gure B

and then start the appliance.

Charging

u Plug the Charging Adapter (10) into the mains power

socket as shown in gure C.

u Place the appliance into the charging stand (9) so that

the socket in the appliance is engaged into the plug of the

charging adapter as shown in gure D.

u The charging LED indicator turns on and the appliance

starts to charge. When the appliance charges fully, the

charging LED indicator turns off.

Warning! Do not charge the battery off the unit to protect from

contamination.

Cleaning the lters

u Rotate the Dust bowl (2) in a counterclockwise direction to

release from the appliance body as shown in gure G.

u Hold the Filter grip (4) and rotate the Dust bowl to take out

the Filter (4).

u Press the Dust bowl cover release button (1) and dispose

of the dirt inside as shown in gure G.

u Dispose of the dirt inside. The Dust bowl can be rinsed by

water. However it needs to be dried afterwards.

u The prelter can be rinsed with water and should be dried

afterwards.

Replacing the lters

The lters should be replaced every 6 to 9 months and

whenever worn or damaged.

Replacement lters are available from your BLACK+DECKER

dealer

Storage

The unit can be safely stored using the charging station (10)

as shown in gure D.

Maintenance

Your BLACK+DECKER corded/cordless appliance/tool has

been designed to operate over a long period of time with a

minimum of maintenance. Continuous satisfactory operation

depends upon proper tool care and regular cleaning.

Warning! Before performing any maintenance on corded/

cordless power tools:

u Switch off and unplug the appliance/tool.

u Or switch off and remove the battery from the appliance/

tool if the appliance/tool has a separate battery pack.

u Or run the battery down completely if it is integral and then

switch off.

u Unplug the charger before cleaning it. Your charger does

not require any maintenance apart from regular cleaning.

u Regularly clean the ventilation slots in your appliance/tool/

charger using a soft brush or dry cloth.

u Regularly clean the motor housing using a damp cloth. Do

not use any abrasive or solvent-based cleaner.

Protecting the environment

Separate collection. Products and batteries

marked with this symbol must not be disposed of

with normal household waste.

Products and batteries contain materials that can be

recovered or recycled reducing the demand for raw materials.

조작

u 그림 A와 같이 전원 버튼 (11)을 누릅니다.

u 장치가 고속으로 시작됩니다. 버튼을 다시 누르면 속도가

느려집니다.

u 전원 버튼을 한 번 더 누르면 기기 작동이 중지됩니다.

액세서리 부착

u 액세서리 브러시 (8)를 사용해야하는 경우 그림 B와 같이

브러시를 공기 흡입구에 삽입 한 다음 기기를 시작하십시오.

u 액세서리 틈새 노즐 (7)을 사용해야하는 경우 그림 B와 같이

충전

u 그림 C와 같이 충전 어댑터 (10)를 주 전원 소켓에 꽂습니다.

u 그림 D와 같이 기기의 소켓이 충전 어댑터의 플러그에

끼워지도록 기기를 충전 스탠드 (9)에 넣습니다.

u 충전 LED 표시등이 켜지고 기기 충전이 시작됩니다. 기가가

완전히 충전되면 충전 LED 표시등이 꺼집니다.

필터 청소

u 더스트 보울 (2)을 시계 반대 방향으로 돌려 그림 G와 같이 기기

본체에서 분리합니다.

u 필터 그립 (4)을 잡고 더스트 보울을 돌려 필터 (4)를 꺼냅니다.

u 더스트 보울 커버 분리 버튼 (1)을 누르고 그림 G와 같이 내부에

오물을 폐기하십시오.

u 내부의 먼지를 처리하십시오. 더스트 보울은 물로 헹굴 수
