Assembly
Warning! To reduce the risk of serious personal injury, turn
unit off and keep away from the on-off button before making
any adjustments or removing/installing attachments or
accessories. An accidental start-up can cause injury.
Charging procedure (g. A)
Warning! Do not use tool while it is connected to the charger.
u Insert the charging plug plug (8) into the charge port (6).
u Plug the charging plug into any charging port (such as on
a computer)or charging socket.
u The charging indicator LED (5) will ash while charging.
u The charging indicator LED will change to solid when fully
charged.
u Battery can be left charging or charger can be
disconnnected..
Important charging notes
u The charger and tool may become warm to the touch
while charging. This is a normal condition, and does not
indicate a problem. To facilitate the cooling of the tool
after use, avoid placing the charger or tool in a warm
environment such as in a metal shed or an uninsulated
trailer.
u If the tool does not charge properly, take the tool and
charger to your local service center.
u You may charge a partially used battery whenever you
desire with no adverse effect on the tool.
Loading glue sticks (Fig. B)
Warning! Keep the tool pointed away from yourself and
others. Serious personal injury may result.
Warning! Never remove a glue stick that has been inserted
into the glue gun.
Warning! Only use 7 mm glue sticks.
u Insert glue sticks into the glue stick loading port 3 at the
back of the glue gun.
u Push the glue stick until it seats fully into the melt
chamber. Do not force the glue stick.
Operation
Warning! To reduce the risk of serious personal injury, turn

On/Off (Fig. C)
Warning! When not in use, place tool upright, on its base,
on a stable surface where it will not cause a tripping or falling
hazard.
Choose a surface that will not be damaged by glue dripping
from the nozzle.
Allow the glue gun to cool for 30 minutes before storing.
The ON/OFF button (4) is located on the base of the tool.
u To turn the tool on, press and hold the top of the ON/OFF
switch for approximately 1 second until heat up LED 2
starts ashing, indicating the heating element is warming
up.
u After approximately 30 seconds, the LED will turn solid
and the illumination LED (7) will turn on to show the unit is
ready to use.
u If the charger indicator LED (5) starts ashing red, this
indicates low battery.
u To turn the tool off, press the ON/OFF switch.
u The LED indicator will no longer be illuminated when the
heating element is off.
Safety cut off feature
The unit includes a safety cut off feature. If the unit has not
been moved or used within 2mins the unit will automatically
turn off. Follow standard on/off procedure to turn back on.
Applying glue
Warning! Molten glue reaches 302ºF. Do not touch applied
glue. Keep away from children.
Warning! Pressing porous materials, such as fabric,
immediately after application can cause glue to leak through
and make contact with skin, causing injury.
u After the glue gun has been ON for at least 30 seconds,
you can apply glue by squeezing the trigger 1 .
u To glue objects together, apply glue to one object and
press the second object into the melted glue. Hold objects
together for 5-10 seconds.
Note: Heavy applications may require up to a minute of
cooling before the glue will reach full strength.
Note: Glue dispersion may be delayed longer than time
claimed due to the presence of solidied glue in the unit.
Proper hand position (Fig. D)
Warning! To reduce the risk of serious personal injury,
ALWAYS use proper hand position as shown.
Warning! To reduce the risk of serious personal injury,
ALWAYS hold securely in anticipation of a sudden reaction.
Proper hand position requires one hand on the main handle.
