Anairtightsealaroundthegasketsiscrucialtoproperstoveperformanceandsafety.Thedoorgasket

shouldbereplacedwhenitnolongerformsatightsealwiththedoor,orasitbecomesfrayed,

mattedor

non‐resilient.Thereareseveralmodeldoorsandgasketsforourunits,butallarereplacedinbasicallythe

samemanner.

Openthestovedoorandremovetheoldgasket(NOTE:Whenreplacingglassand/orglassgasketatthe

sametime,thedoorgasketshouldbereplacedlast).Removeanyleftoversiliconefromthedoorand/or

fromthedoorchannel–youmayneedtouseascrapertodoso.

Inmostcasesitiseasiesttoremovethedoorandlayitonaflatworkingsurface.Usingthesilicone

provided,putabeadofsiliconearoundthechannelonthedoor.Then,startinginthebottomcorner‐

furthestawayfromthehandleside‐installthenewgasket,routingitinthechannelandcuttingasneeded,

beingsuretobutttheendstomakeacompleteseal.Reinstallthedoorandshutandlatchitfor24hours

beforeuse,toallowthesiliconetoproperlysetup.


