Anairtightsealaroundthegasketsiscrucialtoproperstoveperformanceandsafety.Iftheglassis

removedfromthedoor,oriftheglassgasketisfrayedornotsealingproperly,thegasketshouldbe

replaced.Pleaserefertoyourowner’smanualand/ortheserviceDVDthatcamewithyourunitforglass

removalinstructionsforyourparticularunit.

Takenoteofhowthefactory‐installedgasketiscutandroutedaroundtheglass.Oncethegasketis

removed,alltheoldadhesiveshouldbecleaned(orcarefullyscraped,ifnecessary)fromtheglass.Then,

usingaglasscleaner,wipeanysootandashfromtheglass,toensureproperadhesionofthenewgasket.

Thenewgasketshouldbeinstalledbystartingatthecornerandforminga“u”shapearoundtheedgeof

theglasstofoldthegasketovertheglass.Makesurethefinishingedgeoverlapsthebeginningjustabit,so

thatthereisnopossibilityofairleakingaroundtheglass.Oncefinished,reinstalltheglassinthereverseof

themanneritwasremoved.Note:Becarefulnottoover‐tightenthescrews,astheglasscouldbreak.



 


