Pi Tape Digital Outside Diameter-Circumference for Tape Size 24in - 36in lets you easily measure the circumference or diameter of cylindrical objects with a diameter between 24 inches (609.6 mm) and 36 inches (914.4 mm). It's perfect for measuring pipes, tubes, trees, and other round objects.

The digital display shows measurements in either metric or imperial units, and it has a resolution of 0.0005 inches (0.01 mm) for diameters and 0.0005 inches (0.01 mm) for circumferences. The tape is also accurate to within ±0.003 inches (±0.09 mm) for diameters and ±0.009 inches (±0.24 mm) for circumferences.

Instructions for 72” – 84” (programmed at 84”):
1) Insert the tail of tape through the window at the head of tape, then slide the tail underneath the
digital unit to prepare for setting up lines (listed on step 3 below).
NOTE: Use care when sliding the stator strip underneath the digital unit.
2) Turn on the digital unit by pushing the right button until the dashes are displayed.
3) Position the tape so that the set-up line on the head of the tape lines up exactly with the 84”
set-up line on the tail of the tape.
4) Push the right button until “SET is displayed. The digital unit should now display the measurement
that corresponds with the set-up line.
5) Take the readings while applying 5 lbs. tension. The left button is multi-functional. Pressing it repeatedly
will display the dierent measurement modes. The measurement modes oered are metric circumference,
metric diameter, inch circumference, and inch diameter.
6) When not in use, the digital unit turns o automatically after approximately 5 minutes.
NOTE: If digital unit needs to be reset or error message is shown, turn o digital unit by pressing right button
until all characters disappear. Then repeat steps 2 through 4.
The diameter display has a resolution of 0.0005” (0.01mm) with an overall tape tolerance of ± .003” (± .09mm).
The circumference display has a resolution of 0.0005” (0.01mm) with an overall tape tolerance of
± .009" (± .24mm).
