Gamber-Johnson 7160-0512 is a G1 Riveted Keyboard Mount that comes with a riveted pivot joint that enables dependable pivot without needing hardware adjustment. The product includes an adjustable handle that's spring-loaded to help position the keyboard's tilt, as well as a hand knob to swivel the keyboard left and right and make it easier to remove from the mount if required. It can be mounted on top of compatible Gamber-Johnson motion attachments to position the mount closer to the vehicle's dash for optimal usage.

Attaching the keyboard to the
keyboard bracket
1. Insert the 1/4-20 x 2" long hex bolt
through the mounting hole on the
keyboard bracket. The mounting hole
has a hex shaped counterbore for the
head of the bolt to sit into.
2. Attach the bracket to the Keyboard
with the pan head screws provided in
the hardware bag. The I-Key keyboard
will use the (4) #8-32 x 1/4" long screws.
The Panasonic keyboard will use the (8)
M3 x 6mm long screws.
3. Next attach the washers and hand
knob in the order shown to the right.
4. Last Attach the Acorn nut to the
end of the bolt to keep the washers
and handle from falling off the bolt
when the handle is loosened to
remove the keyboard.

Attaching the G1 dock to the Keyboard Mount
1. Attach the G1 dock to the Keyboard mount as shown below with the hardware
supplied with the docking station. A Gamber-Johnson clevis could also be attached to
the back side of the keyboard mount at this same location.
Mounting the Keyboard Mount in a vehicle
The keyboard mount has 1/4-20 threaded inserts on the bottom side for mounting to
Gamber-Johnson motion attachments. Attach with the 1/4-20 x 1/2" long socket button
head screws found in the hardware bag.
The mount also has a clearance hole for a 3/8" bolt and (3) .281 square holes that will
align with the smiley face pattern on Gamber-Johnson upper poles. Hardware has not
been included for these optional mounting locations.
