HDD LED Blinks when hard drive is active.
Network LED Blinks when network connection is active.
USB port
An extra USB port to plug your USB flash drive into the NVR, if necessary,
for copying important video files from the NVR’s hard drive or upgrading the
firmware.
Power input Connects to the power adapter.
Audio output Connects to your speakers.
USB port Connect to the mouse.
HDMI port Connects to your high-definition TV with the HDMI cable.

NVR to access the internet.
Camera ports
These are network PoE (Power over Ethernet) ports to connect and power your
cameras via the Ethernet cables. The 4-CH model will have four less inputs.
Plug one end of the long Ethernet cable into the “LAN” connector on a camera and plug the
other end into any available network camera port on the back of the NVR. Repeat this step until
you have connected all your cameras to the NVR.

4 Connect to your router
To connect the NVR to the Internet, connect one end of the short Ethernet cable to the LAN
port on the back of the NVR, and then connect the other end to a spare port on your Internet-
connected router.
Connecting the NVR to your Internet router allows alert notifications to be sent to your email
account, enables remote viewing via the SwannView Link mobile app, and also ensures correct
date and time on the NVR.
