Warnings and Precautions:
Assembly Guide
1.
Remove all items from packaging and confirm the following items are present (Figure 1).

The Assembly Instructions described in this manual MUST be followed, otherwise, compromised
safety, malfunction, injury to the user and/or patient, or costly damage to cart and/or other equipment
may occur.
Modification of this equipment is not allowed. Modification may cause cart instability resulting in injury
to the user and/or patient or costly damage to the cart or other equipment.

Remove the four (4) screws from the bottom of the support column and set aside (Figure 2).

Attach the base to the support column.
Stand the support column on end, with the short, blue T-Channel cover strips on top (Figure 3).
Place the base upside-down onto the support column.
Thread the four (4) previously removed screws through the base, into the support column (Figure 4).
Tighten the screws using the TX30 hex key.

Stand the assembly upright. Lock the front caster wheels by engaging the break on both wheels.

Remove the long blue T-Channel cover strips from the support column and set aside (Figure 5).
Note: DO NOT remove the short blue T-Channel cover strips located near the bottom of the support
column

Install the large wire basket on the support column (Figure 6).
Align the pre-mounted basket hardware with the front slots of the support column.
Slide the basket down the column until it rests on the short T-channel cover strips.
Tighten the pre-mounted hardware using the 4mm hex key.

Reattach the long T-channel cover strips, allowing the bottom of the strip to rest on the large wire
basket mounting hardware.
8.
Install the shelf onto the support column (Figure 7).
Align the pre-mounted shelf hardware with the front slots of the support column.
Slide the shelf down the column until the shelf surface is flush with the top of the column.
Tighten the pre-mounted hardware using the 5mm hex key.
Note: If the shelf becomes hard to position, consider laying the assembly on its side or back.

Remove the short gray T-channel cover strip from the rear slot of the support column and set aside (Figure 8).
Note: DO NOT remove the long gray T-channel cover strip.
10.
Install the small wire basket on the support column (Figure 9).
Align the pre-mounted shelf hardware with the rear support column slot.
Slide the basket down the column until it rests on the long gray T-channel cover strip.
Tighten the pre-mounted hardware using the 4mm hex key.
11.
Replace the small gray T-Channel cover strip, allowing it to rest on the small wire basket bracket.
12.
Install the handle onto the support column (Figure 10).
Align the pre-mounted handle hardware with the rear support column slot.
Slide the handle down the column until it rests on the short slot strip.
Tighten the pre-mounted hardware using the 4mm hex key.

Install the column cover on the top of the support column (Figure 11).
14.
Assembly complete. Consult the gi4000 Electrosurgical Generator Operating Manual for information regarding the
use, care and cleaning and maintenance of the GoCart Mobile Cart.
