Inspect an old product for your safety!

A cable to connect to a source device can be purchased at an electronics shopping complex or an online
shopping mall.

Front View and Functions
The product color and design may vary depending on the product model.
An object such as a wire around the touch buttons may cause the on-screen display (OSD) menu to open even
though a button is not touched.

Switch to the Input Source that is available. When the OSD menu is displayed, this button can
be used as the E (ENTER) button on the remote control.

Change the channel. When the OSD menu is displayed, the < 채널 > buttons can function as

Power on or off the product.
Standby-mode indicator LED
The LED flashes and then turns off when the product powers on. The LED turns on when the
product is in stand-by mode.
Remote-control sensor
Press a button on the remote control while pointing the remote control at the remote-control
sensor on the product. The corresponding function will activate.
Standby mode
Do not leave the product in standby mode for an extended period of time when leaving your house empty (vacation,
etc.). The power is consumed (although the amount consumed is small) even when the PowerP button is switched off.
It is best to disconnect the power cable.

Mount Bracket Installation
Before installing the mount bracket
1. Power off the product, and remove the power cable from the power outlet.
2. Put a protective blanket or cushion on a flat surface. Next, place the product facing down onto the blanket or
cushion.
3. Pull out the stand in the direction of the arrow.

4. Unfasten the screws to detach the bracket.
5. Align the grooves on the bracket (to fix the product on a desk or mount it onto a wall) with the grooves on the back
of the product. Next, securely fasten the screws.
Notes
Using screws longer than the provided screws may cause internal product damage.
For a wall mount that does not comply with VESA standards, the length of required screws may vary depending
on the specifications.
Do not use a screw that does not comply with VESA standards. Also, do not use excessive force when
attaching the bracket. Otherwise, the product may break or fall off and cause a personal injury. Samsung
Electronics shall not be liable for injuries caused by not following the instructions.
Samsung Electronics shall not be liable for any damage to the product or injuries sustained as a result of the
product being installed onto a wall by an unqualified individual or by using a wall-mount kit other than the
specified one.
To install the product onto a wall, ensure you purchase a wall-mount kit that allows a space of at least 10 cm
between the product and wall.
Use only a wall-mount kit that complies with international standards.

Manually enter the number of the desired
channel.

Connecting to an Antenna
The basic setup process automatically runs when the product is turned on for the first time after purchase.
Take extra care to ensure the wires inside the cable do not bend.
Initial Settings
When the product is powered on for the first time after purchase, you can configure basic settings (language, channel,
clock, etc.). Press the POWERP button. Setup is available only when Source is set to TV.

Set the language.
Press or . Next, press E(Enter).
Select the desired on-screen menu language.

To use the product at home, select Home Use. To use the product for commercial

Yes, I need to. All the channels available will be found and stored on your TV.

Set the clock. Set Clock Mode to automatic or manual mode.
Auto: Let the clock set automatically to the current time based on information from a digital
broadcast.
Manual: Set the current date and time manually.

home.
If the antenna cable is not connected properly, channel registration will not work.

Setting up Connections
Installation Precaution
Check in advance the ports on the source device to be connected by referring to the device user guide.
The names, locations and quantity of ports on a source device may vary depending on the manufacturer.
To connect to a source device that provides mono output, ensure the audio cable is connected to the AV
[on the right (red)] audio port on the product.
When connecting the product to a source device using a cable, the colors of the ports on the two devices must match.
For instance, if you connect the component cable to a port with a different color, displayed images will not be in proper
colors.
A video player or a cable/satellite broadcast receiver can be connected using the antenna cable. In this case, digital
broadcasts cannot be viewed when a channel is selected by using the video player.

When the HDMI/DVI cable is connected, the HDMI 입력 (DVI) port must be used for video. A DVD player, Blu-
ray player, HD cable box, or HD STB satellite receiver may require a DVI-HDMI (DVI/HDMI) cable or DVI-HDMI
(DVI/HDMI) adapter. The PC/DVI audio input port is needed for audio.
The picture may not display colors properly and/or the video/audio may not be available if a source device using
an older version of HDMI is connected to the product which uses the latest version of HDMI. If such a problem
occurs, ask the HDMI source device manufacturer about the version and, if out of date, request an upgrade.
It is best to purchase a certified HDMI cable. Otherwise, the screen may appear blank or a connection error may
occur.
When PC is connected to HDMI입력(DVI) jack through HDMI cable, please set the Edit Name to PC.
When connecting external devices (DVD player, cable receiver, digital settop, PC, and etc) through HDMI,
external devices play audio by home theatre / amplier. If the sound is played abnormally, please contact the
manufacture of the external device.

Connecting to an Audio Device
Connection using an optical (digital) or audio (analog) cable
The TB300 series does not have a port for headphones or an optical cable.

The speakers on the product and on the home theater/amplifier will produce sound at the same time. You can
mute the sound on the product.
5.1 channel can be heard only when the corresponding show supports it.
If a source device (DVD player, cable receiver, digital broadcast receiver, PC, etc.) is connected through HDMI,
the audio from the source device can also be heard through the home theater/amplifier. If there is any abnormal
noise when the source device is controlled, contact the source device manufacturer.
Headphone H: You can connect your headphones to the headphones output port on the product. Connecting
headphones will disable the internal speakers.
When headphones are connected to the product, some sound functions may not be available.
The volumes on the headphones and product can be controlled separately from each other.

If a non-standard video format is selected, the product may not operate normally.
Interlaced scan mode is not supported.
To reduce the power consumption to 0 watts when the power switch is not available, disconnect the power cable.
When a cable is connected to the HDMI port on the product, the Display Power Management (DPM) function will
be disabled.
Supported PC resolutions
If one of the signals indicated in the following standard signal modes is transmitted from your PC, the screen can
automatically be adjusted. If the signal transmitted from the PC does not belong to the standard signal modes, the
screen may appear blank even if the power LED is on. In such a case, change the settings according to the following
table by referring to the graphics card user guide.

Changing the Input Source
Source
You can view a selected source device that is connected to the product.
TV / PC / USB / HDMI/DVI / AV / Component
You can select only from source devices connected to the product. Connected input sources
appear highlighted on the Source screen.
On the list of input sources, the PC option always appears activated.

Modifying the Input Source
By pressing the Tools button on the Source screen, you can change the name of a connected source device as desired.
VCR / DVD / Cable STB / Satellite STB / PVR STB / AV receiver / Game / Camcorder / PC / DVI PC /
DVI Devices / TV / IPTV / Blu-ray / HD DVD / DMA: Assign a name to a source device connected to an input port
so that you can select the input source more easily.
If the HDMI 입력 (DVI) port on the product is connected to a PC using the HDMI cable, you must change the input
source to PC using the Edit Name menu.
If the HDMI 입력 (DVI) port on the product is connected to a PC using the HDMI/DVI cable, you must change the
input source to DVI PC using the Edit Name menu.
If the HDMI 입력 (DVI) port on the product is connected to an AV device using the HDMI/DVI cable, you must
change the input source to DVI using the Edit Name menu.
Detailed Information
By pressing the Tools button on the Source screen, you can view detailed information about a connected source device.
