16in.(40cm)fromtheapplication.Observetheresults,

thenreducethedistance,steepentheangle,andadjust

theblastregulator.

Astheblastpressureisincreased,slowlyadjustthe

abrasivemeteringvalveandwatchtheDataTrak

toachieve7-10pumpcyclesperminute.See

Unlikeconventionalsandblasting,higherpressuresdonotnecessarilymeanbettercleaning.Nozzledistanceandthe

angletothesurfacehasaneffectonperformance,asdoestheblastpressure.Choiceofabrasivealsohasagreateffect.

High-performanceabrasiveproducesthebestperformanceandcansaveenoughtimetomakeupthedifferenceincost.
