Battery (Optional YA-B10)
Charge a battery only as specifically
directed.
Charging a battery using a method
other than that specifically mentioned in
this user’s guide creates the risk of
overheating, fire, and explosion.
Do not allow a battery to become wet
with water, seawater, or other liquids.
Moisture creates the risk of battery
damage, and lessening of battery
performance and battery life.
Never place a vase or any other
container of water on top of a battery.
Moisture from the container can get on
a battery and create the risk of battery
damage, and lessening of battery
performance and battery life.
Do not use a battery to power any
other device besides this product.
Use batteries to power a CX-E1 or
CX-F1 projector only. Using a battery to
power any other type of device creates
the risk of battery damage, and
lessening of battery performance and
battery life.
Do not touch a battery with wet hands.
Doing so creates the risk of electric
shock.
Be sure to observe the precautions
below when using a battery.
Failure to do so creates the risk of battery
overheating, fire, and explosion.
Should you ever notice any battery
abnormality, immediately stop using it.
Should you ever notice leaking fluid,
abnormal odor, heat generation,
discoloration, deformation, or external
damage while using, charging, or
storing a battery, immediately
disconnect it from the projector and/or
AC adapter and stop using it.
Precautions When Storing or Using a
Battery
Do not use, leave, or store a battery in a
location exposed to strong direct
sunlight, in a closed motor vehicle
parked outside, or in any other location
subject to high temperatures. Heat
creates the risk of battery overheating
and fire, and lessening of battery
performance and battery life.
Should fluid leaking from a battery
ever get onto your skin or clothing,
immediately rinse it off with clean
water.
Fluid in the eyes creates the risk of sight
loss, etc. After rinsing, immediately
contact a physician.
• Do not try to disassemble or modify a
battery.
• Do not use or leave a battery near fire
or open flame.
• Do not throw a battery into fire or
expose it to heat.
• Do not pack a battery together with
any conductive material (metal
necklaces, coins, etc.) for transport or
storage.
• Do not allow a battery to be pierced by
a needle or subjected to strong impact
(hammer blow, stepping, etc.)
• Do not place a battery into a
microwave oven, dryer, pressurized
container, etc.
