4. TARGET HEART RATE PROGRAM

valuecanbeadjustedusingtheUPorDOWNkey.PressENTERtosavevalueandmoveontothenextparametertobe
adjusted.
Note: •Iftheusersetsupatargettimeforaworkout,thenthenextparameterofDistancecannotbeadjusted.
• If the measured Pulse is above or below the set TARGET H.R (± 5), the computer will adjust the resistance load
automatically.Thecomputerwillcheck,approximatelyevery20seconds,andadjusttheresistanceloadby1upor
down, as required. Each resistance load represents 2 levels of loading.
• Whenoneoftheworkoutparameterscountsdowntobezero,thecomputerwillsoundawarningandstop
theworkoutautomatically.PresstheSTARTkeytocontinuetheworkouttoreachanyunnishedworkout
parameters.
5. HEART RATE CONTROL PROGRAM
There are 2 selections for target pulse:
• P16-60%TARGETH.R=60%of(220-AGE)
• P17-85%TARGETH.R=85%of(220-AGE)
SelectoneoftheHEARTRATECONTROLPROGRAMSusingtheUPorDOWNkeythenpressENTER.The1st
parameter“Time”willashandthevaluecanbeadjustedusingtheUPorDOWNkey.PressENTERtosavevalue
andmoveontothenextparametertobeadjusted.
