Everbilt 18591 is ideal for gates and doors. It can self-adjust to compensate for over 1/2 in of gate sag and can be mounted for left- or right-handed use. It features a padlock hole for added security.

To use the Everbilt 18591, first close the gate and align the latch with the center bar. Then, mark the screw locations and drill 3/32 in pilot holes for the latch. Next, secure the latch.

Fit the center bar peg into the bottom hole of the center bar housing plate and mark the screw locations of the housing plate. Drill 3/32in pilot holes for the housing and secure.

For outdoor application, drill a hole through the post and attach wire (not included) from the latch to the pull ring.
