1. UPGRADE
1.1 Removal of the old platform
While it may not seem necessary to remove the front and side panels to sw ap the platform, it is still advised
to do so. Placing the new platform when f ront a nd side pan els would still attached may result in deforming
these panels.
How to remove the old platform
1. Remove the 4 screws from the front panel and remove it.

2. Remove the 8 s crews on both side panels.
3. Slide the side panels out of the pedestal.

4. Loosen and remove the countersunk screws on top of the struts.
5. Lift the old platform out of the struts.

1.2 Preparing the new platform
What should be done?
The tilting mechanism which is stored inside the new platform must be assembled before this new platform can be mounted on the
struts.
How to assemble the tilting mechanism?
1. Remove t he tilting m echanism from the inside of the new platform.

2. Mount the tilting mech anism as shown in the following drawing.
Remove nut 4 and washer 3.

3. Turn the upper side of the platform so that rod 2 fits in the hole of the lower part of the platform.

1.3 Mounting the new platform
How to mount the new platform?
1. Place the new platform (reference 1 im age 1-9) on the struts.
- Make sure the hinge side of the platforms is facing to the front side of the pede stal.
- Make sure all the c ups (reference 2) for the projector feet are facing up.

2. Fasten each strut with 4 countersunk screws to the platform.
3. Fully drive in the screws fastening the struts to the bottom plate.
4. Place the side panels back in its original p osition an reattach them with the original screws.

5. Place the front panel against the frame. Push it upwards as far as possible so that the gap between the platform and the front
panel is as s mall as possible.
Note: Make gap as small as possible so that the heat of the server cannot escape through this gap and warm up the projector.
