NOTES ON BUSHING ASSEMBLY
If the bushing’s rubber packing ring is not correctly installed and used, water
can get into the equipment. Warranty service is not applicable to repairs
done for equipment failures caused by the entry of water resulting from a
failure to use the correct packing.
After the bushing is assembled, check to ensure that:
1. The bushing is mounted securely.
2. The rubber packing ring is correctly installed in place.
3. The cap is securely tightened.
