Proper service and repair is important to the safe, reliable operation of all Haier Company Equipment. The service
procedures recommended by Haier and described in this service manual are effective methods of performing
service operations. Some of these service operations require the use of tools specially designed for the purpose.
The special tools should be used when and as recommended.
It is important to note that this manual contains various CAUTIONS and NOTICES which should be carefully read in
order to minimize the risk of personal injury to service personnel. The possibility exists that improper service
methods may damage the equipment. It is also important to understand that these CAUTIONS and NOTICES ARE
NOT EXHAUSTIVE. Haier could not possibly know, evaluate and advise the service trade of all conceivable ways in
which service might be done or of the possible hazardous consequences of each way. Consequently, Haier has not
undertaken any such broad evaluation. Accordingly, a servicer who uses a service procedure or tool which is not
recommended by Haier must first satisfy himself thoroughly that neither his safety nor the safe operation of the
equipment will be jeopardized by the service method selected.
Hereafter throughout this manual, Haier Company will be referred to as Haier.

REPLACEMENT PARTS, WHICH ARE LISTED WITH THEIR PART NUMBERS IN THE PARTS LIST SECTION OF
THIS SERVICE MANUAL.
Take care during handling the LCD module with backlight unit
-Must mount the module using mounting holes arranged in four corners.
-Do not press on the panel, edge of the frame strongly or electric shock as this will result in damage to the screen.
-Do not scratch or press on the panel with any sharp objects, such as pencil or pen as this may result in damage to
the panel.
-Protect the module from the ESD as it may damage the electronic circuit (C-MOS).
-Make certain that treatment person’s body is grounded through wristband.
-Do not leave the module in high temperature and in areas of high humidity for a long time.
-Avoid contact with water as it may a short circuit within the module.
-If the surface of panel becomes dirty, please wipe it off with a soft material. (Cleaning with a dirty or rough cloth may
damage the panel.)

2. Operating Instructions
2.1 The Use of Remote Control
POWER
Press to power ON/OFF (standby) TV.
Note: The TV is never completely
powered off unless physically unplugged.
TV, DVD, STB, CABLE, VCR, AUD
Select one of the system modes in which
the remote control can be used.
PICTURE
Press to change the picture mode:
Standard, Eco, Movie, Personal, Vivid.
AUDIO
Press to change the audio mode:
Standard, Music, Speech, Personal.
PC
Press to change the input to PC mode.
HDMI
Press to directly change the input to the
last HDMI input. Press to switch to other
HDMI input when current source is HDMI.
0 ~ 9 / • number
Press to enter a TV channel number
(Press "•" to choose the sub-channel).
INPUT
Press to show the input source list. Use
the up and down arrow keys to select a
source, and then press the ENTER key.
MUTE
Switch the sound on/off.
RECALL
Press to display the previous channel.
VOL+ / VOL
Press to adjust volume.
CHΛ / CH V
Press to browse through the TV channels.
MENU
Press to enter or exit the menu.
EXIT
Press to exit the menu or OSD (on screen
display).

SLEEP
Press to set the sleep timer: (off / 5 / 10

The TV will automatically turn off (standby
mode) after selected period of time
passes.

Press to show the information about the
input source, TV channel, display
resolution and current time.
USB
Press to change the input mode to USB
(only when a USB storage device is
connected).

For analog TV, press to switch sound
mode as Stereo, SAP or Mono. For digital
TV, press to switch audio language if the

Press once to display a frozen image of

ARC
Press to change the display aspect ratio:

signal.
FAVORITE
Press to show the Favorite Channel List.
Use the up and down arrow keys to select
a channel, and then press ENTER.
USB
• For non JPEG/MP3 mode:
Press to display the "Multimedia List"
menu.
• For JPEG/MP3 mode:
Press to toggle MP3/JPEG mode.
For Muitimedia (JPEGViewer/
MP3MusicBox) use:
PLAY/PAUSE
Press to toggle Play/Pause function in
Multimedia source.
STOP
Press to stop playing in Multimedia

Press to toggle Repeat On/Off mode in
MP3 MusicBox.

Press to focus/view on previous item in

Once HDMI CEC Control feature is
enabled, PLAY/PAUSE, STOP, REV,
FWD, PREV and NEXT control buttoms
provide the function control of compatible
DVD players with HDMI-CEC control.

Step2. Remove the REAR COVER.

Step3. Remove the BKT, AC COVER, AC SOCKET and SPEAKERS.
Step4. Remove the MAIN BOARD and POWER BOARD.

Step5. Remove the BKT and separate the BEZEL and PANEL.
Step6. Remove the LED BAORD, IR BOARD and KEY BOARD.
