Remove the back cover

Insert your TalkTalk

SIM card, with the gold

coloured contacts

facing down.

Now insert your battery

Insert your Micro SD card

Then replace the back cover

Firstly, turn on your Samsung

Galaxy Ace by pressing and

holding the power button.

Getting started

IMPORTANT

Tap the back arrow key

when you see this screen,

DO NOT select any of the

options on screen

Next, you’ll have the option to sign

in to your Google account. If you

don’t already have one, you can

press skip or create an account.

Power button

If you’re happy for Google to know

your location, leave both boxes

ticked and tap ‘Next’. If not, untick

both boxes and click ‘Next’.

Set the time and date, then

tap ‘Next’.

Your initial setup is now complete,

and your home screen will appear.

You’re now ready to set up your picture messaging and

mobile internet. Find out how on page 10.

You’ll see a message from

settings are on their way. Press

the ‘Home’ key to return to your

home screen.

Hold your ﬁnger at the top of the

screen, and then slide it down to

the bottom.

You’ll see another message

from TalkTalk – tap where it says

‘Conﬁguration Message List’.

If you don’t receive this message,

text ‘TALK’ to 40127.

To use picture messaging and mobile internet on your

phone, you’ll need to get the settings right.

How do I check my mobile usage?

Here you can track how many minutes, texts or data that you’ve

used. You’ll also be able to see your remaining allowance.

It can take up to 48 hours for your usage to update in

My Account

Can I use my phone abroad?

You can make and receive calls when overseas, however

these charges will not be included in your monthly package

and will be itemised separately on your bill.
