A/V AND PC

A/V and PC work space connectivity is a crucial component of work life – however it can be difﬁcult

to stay up to date with the latest technology. The market is constantly changing – looking for higher

resolutions at longer lengths and faster speeds. This can create a challenge when connecting older

equipment to newer devices and vice versa. That’s why Legrand

is working hard to provide the right

connectivity solutions at the right time for an effortless customer experience.

RAPIDRUN

CONNECTIVITY SOLUTION

Installing media equipment in a meeting room or classroom often requires VGA, Stereo Audio, HDMI,

and USB – this is especially true when using an interactive whiteboard. Connect a tablet, laptop, or

other source device to the RapidRun wall plate which connects to three cables; a RapidRun Optical

runner, a RapidRun multi-format runner, and a USB active extension cable. These three cables run

to a projector or other interactive display where the RapidRun Optical and multi-format runners will

connect to ﬂying leads – completing the modular cable for VGA, Stereo Audio and HDMI – while the

USB active extension cable connects for data and control.

Notes: Each complete RapidRun runner solution requires a break-away ﬂying lead or wall plate to terminate each end of the runner cable.

Each runner requires (2) break-away ﬂying leads, (2) wall plates, OR (1) break-away ﬂying lead and (1) wall plate.

plate conveniently adds control to
