CODA TARANTULA

CRANK INSTRUCTION SUPPLEMENT

We have made a running change to the production of 1999 CODA Tarantula

Competition and Expert cranks. On approximately 9/01/98, we changed the

stock 8/9 speed compatible spider to include a production date code in

place of the “dimple” which aligns with the right crank arm (See Fig. 1 in

the CODA Tarantula / CF2 crankset manual). This date code consists of a

letter and a number. We also slightly changed the spacing between the mid-

dle and small chainrings to improve shifting and reduce the possibility of

chain suck. This spider is part number QCSC9/EBO.
