REQUIRED TOOLS
• None
GENERAL INFORMATION
Linear surround modesty panel kits are designed to cover
the surround attachment screws, to provide a clean, finished
appearance. This kit contains all components required to install a
surround modesty panel.
PRE-INSTALLATION STEPS
Ensure the fireplace is installed with the surround attached
before installing the surround modesty panel (Sirius P/N
900079-00 and DRL3000 P/N 900079-02).

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Attach the three (3) magnets included in the kit to the
surround, near the three (3) surround attachment screws
(Figure 2).

2. Attach the surround modesty panel to the magents
(Figure 3).
NOTE: The surround modesty panel should rest on the
firebox behind the door flange. Top side will rest on the
surround.

WARNING
HOT GLASS WILL CAUSE BURNS. DO NOT TOUCH
GLASS UNTIL COOLED.
NEVER ALLOW CHILDREN
TO TOUCH GLASS.
• Fireplaces surfaces get EXTREMELY HOT!
• Install only when fireplace is OFF and COLD.
• The glass on the front of the fireplace reaches
EXTREMELY HIGH temperatures and can cause severe
burns if touched. Even after the gas is turned off, fireplace
surfaces remain extremely hot.
• Keep children away from an operating fireplace. Closely
supervise children in any room where a fireplace is
operating to prevent contact with glass.
