(※Note: SOYAL Proximity Readers only support to upgrade rmware via COM Port Communication)

Before Upgrading Firmware by ISP Tool, Node ID should be set for each device so it
can communicate with computer, and then ISP Tool will be able to send commands to
the assigned Node ID of each device.

What to do if forget the node ID :
If the node ID is forget or not conrmed, please refer to the below method to set node ID.
(Method 1)
Use command to change Node ID (Be suitable for H series controller and master code is
necessary)
(Method 2 )
When only one controller is connected for firmware upgrade, you can enter 255 as Node ID
instead of actual Node ID.
Step1 Enter programming Mode
Input 123456 or PPPPPP
Enter the program mode

[e.g.] The Default Value= 123456, if the Master Code is already changed= 876112, input 876112 → program
Step2 Change Node ID
Input 00 NNN [Node ID: 001~254; if the access controller is connected to AR-716E, its Node ID will be 001~016.]

STEP 6 : The rmware is programming ( The bar indicate the programing status).
{※It is normal if some devices sound a long beep during the update process}
STEP 7 : The program is completed and click “Yes” to exit.
There is a risk in upgrading the firmware of the device. If the communication is interrupted
during the upgrade process or using incorrect the firmware file to upgrade, the CPU of
the device will be broken. Therefore, it is suggested that the distance between the device
and computer is as short as possible, and it is best to only connect one device under USB
Converter to upgrade and disconnected other devices in the same communication port.
Home H series devices do not support updating firmware via TCP/IP communication
interface.

STEP 3 : Enter the Node ID of the controller.

STEP 5 : Till Pop-up the window as below, that indicate Master Code has been
reset to default value 123456
