Installing the New Circuit
Board
1. There are four white plastic
stand-offs pre-installed on the
new circuit board.
Line the stand-offs up with
the holes in the power center
mounting plate and press the
stand-offs into place until secured
into place. See Figure 2.
2. Secure the new power connector
to the enclosure using the four
black plastic rivets provided with
the kit. See Figure 2.
3. Connect the two RED transformer wires
to the circuit board tabs marked T1 and
T2. See Figure 3.
Note: If connectors feel loose, adjust
with needle nose pliers as needed.
4. Secure the new circuit board assembly
to the bottom of the power center with
the three mounting screws. See Figure 1
on previous page.
5. Remove the wire jumper from the green
connector plug on the top-right corner of
the circuit board. See Figure 4.
6. Insert the wires from the Pool Cover

5. Slide the circuit board assembly out of the enclosure and disconnect the two RED
transformer wires.
Note: Older power centers will have a GREEN/YELLOW ground wire connecting
the circuit board to the power center’s grounding lug (see Figure 1 on previous
page). Remove and discard this wire; it will not be used with the new circuit board.
Note: Older power centers will also contain a fuse holder. Using a pair of needle-
nose pliers, unthread the fuse holder nut and remove the fuse holder assembly

four Phillips-head screws that secure the control
panel cover.
Unplug the white, 8-position plug from the electronic
board and remove the control panel cover.
This kit contains two wire tap connectors (shown in
Figure 5). These will be used to splice both GREEN
communication wires together and both WHITE
communication wires together, following the steps
below.
Slightly open one of the tap connectors with a
flat-head screwdriver, and insert one GREEN

the tap connector. See Figure 6.
Using a pair of , firmly press the metal tap into
the center of the connector until it is completely
inserted into the plastic connector. See Figure 7.
Close and lock the plastic connector cover over the
metal tap. See Figure 8.
7. Repeat steps 4-6 to splice the two WHITE
communication wires together.
8. IntellipH Controller is now ready to operate in stand-
alone configuration, with a pool cover compatible
iChlor
PC100 power center.
