2. Power Plug Information and Features
2.1. Device Features
Power Plug is a manageable (wireless controlled) power socket. You can use it to control
any devices: lamps, heaters, skimmers based on set parameters.
One of the use cases can be for example:
- when the temperature in the aquarium rises above the allowable - can turn on the
aquarium cooler.
- in cooperation with an optical sensor (connected to Kore 5th/7th) - can protect the
skimmer against overflow.
The Power module can coexist with other Pacific Sun devices added to the PS Cloud
ecosystem. In the case of setting “Rules” – when Kore 7th works with the kHLab module
(depending on the set water hardness) it can turn ON or OFF the Calcium Reactor effluent
dosing (control pump which is dosing aquarium water to the Calcium Reactor).
Power Plug is equipped with a module measuring the current and voltage consumed
by the connected device.
You can also use it to control the correct operation of the devices (clogged circulation
pump, skimmer pump, etc.).
Power Plug is easily and transparently managed via the application (accessible from
any browser – including e.g.: SMART TVs).
This device has a built-in scheduler allowing to program ON/OFF functions for each day
of the week such as controlling an algae reactor.
