permanently. The operating light will flash quickly in the event of a malfunction.
After charging, remove the plug on the mains adapter from the mains socket
and remove the jack plug from the charging station.

Do not use solvents or caustic/gaseous cleaning agents to clean the surfaces of
the appliance and the accessories. Wipe the surface with a damp cloth.
9.1. Cleaning the dust container
We recommend emptying the dust container and cleaning the filter after every use.
Carry out the following steps:
The appliance is switched off.
Press the release button on the handheld appliance.
Remove the dust container from the motor block.
Remove the dust filter by grabbing hold of it inside the opening and pulling it

9.2. Cleaning the suction openings
After a while, dirt and dust can collect around the suction openings and can reduce
the suction power. To avoid this, the suction openings should be cleaned regularly.
Switch off the appliance.
Remove dirt and dust from in and around the suction opening on the handheld
appliance and around the brush, as well as from the suction tube in the vacuum
cleaner foot.
You can remove the brush on the vacuum cleaner foot for cleaning purposes:
Use a suitably sized coin to turn the brush locking mechanism in an anticlock-
wise direction and then remove the cover. Remove the brush and clean it.
Insert the brush again so that the triangular recess on the brush fits the triangu-
lar lug on the foot housing and the other end with the flat side is pointing up-
wards. Then replace the cover and lock it again with the brush locking mecha-
nism by turning it in a clockwise direction.
In the event of a clogged vacuum cleaner foot, remove it from the upright vacu-
um cleaner housing by pressing the release button on the bottom of the upright
vacuum cleaner housing backwards and pulling off the foot at the same time.
Remove the foreign body from the vacuum cleaner foot and the suction tube on
the upright vacuum cleaner housing.
Then assemble the upright vacuum cleaner as described above.
