PROLiNK PRT7011L-B Battery Indicator Improvement

Improvement Description:

PRT7011L-B battery life is improved with the following changes in the power life indicators.

LED Power %

BLUE 100% - 40%

AMBER 39% - 10%

RED 9% - 1%

Kindly follow the below steps to update the MIFI firmware.

(i) Download the firmware (PRT7011LB_1.02.zip) from our support website. DO NOT require to unzip

the file.

(ii) Plug in the USB cable from the MIFI to the computer USB port, install the driver (if not yet installed)

from My PC > Right click the “CD Drive” and install the driver.

(iii) Open the web browser and type in http://192.168.1.1 > enter Username: admin; Password:

password > System > Firmware Upgrade > Upgrade Router: Manual > File Name: browse to the

downloaded firmware (PRT7011LB_1.02.zip) location > Update

(iv) DO NOT UNPLUG THE USB CABLE DURING THE UPDATING PROCESS.

The whole process will take around 3 to 4 mins.

(v) After the upgrading is done, login again when prompt, and go to Configuration > Reset

(vi) The new firmware version v1.02 will be shown under System > About

P/S: The mentioned firmware is only for PRT7011L-B version. You can check the version from the MIFI serial number

sticker for example as shown.
