1. Unplug the dash cam to power it off. Wait for a few seconds until it’s off.
2. Remove the SD card.
3. Insert the SD card into the computer. Copy the bin file you downloaded before to the SD card.
Note: The latest firmware version for TT-VD006 is V0.13.
4. Remove the SD card, plug it back to the dash cam again.
5. Power on the dash cam, and it’ll start the upgrade automatically.
6. During the upgrade, the red LED indicator will flash slowly and then fast. After about 20s, two
beeps will be heard. The dash cam will reboot automatically; with the red LED flashing, the
device will start recording videos. Thus, the firmware has been upgraded successfully.
7. Press OK button and then Menu button, select Version Info to check the current firmware
version.
Reminders:
1) After you insert the SD card into the dash cam and power it on, the LED indicator stays red and
there’s a message on the screen prompting an SD card error. In this case, you’re recommended
to format the SD card, insert it into your computer to copy the bin file again for another
upgrade.
2) During the upgrade (red LED indicator flashing), do no unplug the device or remove the SD
card; otherwise the upgrade will fail.
3) During the upgrade, the blue LED stays solid on, indicating the device is being charged; if the
LED indicator is off, it means the device is fully charged.
4) After a successful upgrade, the bin file in the SD card will be deleted automatically.
5) After upgrade, the red LED indicator flashes, the dash cam starts recording videos, and its
been reset to factory settings.
