The idea of having a steady supply of berries by growing
your own from a bed of strawberry plants is tempting and,
fortunately, as easy as pie. Pineberries which are relatively
new are gaining in popularity in farmer’s markets and
speciality food stores. Pineberries are considered a strawberry
cultivar and are grown for their unique taste. They are NOT
genetically modified. Pineberries and Quinault are both
everbearing varieties. The plants are vigorous and send out
many runners. The Pineberries bear white fruit, speckled with
red seed. Nice aroma with a mild pineapple flavor.

About This Variety: They are easy to grow, producing a steady crop throughout the season.
Success is guaranteed! As they are only partially self-pollinating, it is best to intermingel plant of another
variety such as Quinault, which cross-pollination will increase fruit yield.
Growing Instructions: Plant early spring so plants can get established before the hot weather. Do not cover the
crown of the root. They love the sun so consider that when choosing a location to plant.
Care Tip: Best to plant on cloudy days so the plants do not wilt before you can water them. We know it can be
hard, but you will want to pinch the blossoms and the plant runners the first year to ensure the plants will develop
a good system the first year.
