housed device
on to the
4 standos.

TOOLS NEEDED TO ASSEMBLE RACK:
1 x Cross Head Screwdriver
1 x Pozi Head Screwdriver
1 x Flat Head screwdriver (Note: Only needed if using the volt free contact
connector)
Contents
Insert the M4 x
35mm through
the device into
the standos
(4 per unit).
Tighten down
the devices,
maximum
torque 2Nm.
Take one of the
ear brackets and
4 M4 x 8mm
screws.
Repeat 5 - 7 for
the other side.
The Rack Unit is
now ready to be
tted into the 19”
cabinet using the
supplied M6 Cage
Nuts and M6
Screws.
Line the bracket up with the
unit, making sure the bent
part of the ear is to the front
of the shelf.
Locate each of the
M4 x 8mm screws and
tighten, maximum
torque 3Nm.

12Vdc connection can
now be made to the
tted units with the DC
Barrel Jack connector
on the 1U rack shelf.

LED INDICATION & STATUS
Status
LED illuminates red when the electronics are in an unhealthy state. Unhealthy
states shown are either 12V PSU output dropping below 10.5V, or a problem in the
electronics. When this LED illuminates, the green volt free contact is in an open state.
Power 1
12V power healthy PSU 1. LED is illuminated green when healthy.
Power 2
12V power healthy PSU 2. LED is illuminated green when healthy.

Connect any HDMI, USB, and network cables of the housed devices to the unit
as required.
Plug the provided power connectors into the housed devices. Plug both mains
supplies into the Rack Unit.
If using the volt free contact, connect your monitoring system into the 2-way screw
terminal connector. Wire size: 0.5mm
